Guess I just didn't get it.  Between the trite dialog and violence, it completely left me disgusted I spent money on it.

Different strokes there Frog.  I do not care for excessive violence.  I do not find it entertaining, and that is why I go to the movies.

A bad movie is one thing. A movie with marquee names and a big budget that completely misses is another. My list of walkouts (OK - turn the VCR off) includes:

The Magic Christian - (Peter Sellers and Ringo Star of all people)
Ishtar - (Waren Beaty and Dustin Hoffman)

Pulp Fiction was groundbreaking and really did have a huge impact on the industry, whether or not you personally could stomach the content.

Titanic and Pearl Harbor - I never walked in.

The one movie I walked out on was Robin Hood - Men in Tights.  Mel Brook's very disapointing movie spoof.
The worst movie EVER where I should of destroyed everything the video touched was Freddy Got Fingered with Tom Green...pure trash.

Hmmm,..Stomaching it had little to do with why I walked.  I just found it superflous, trite, boring, and overtly violent.  Overall, a rather terrible movie.
I really cannot fathom why it was considered 'ground breaking'.

PS: "Krull" lol! :D

Ooooo... Ishtar.  Now that was truly a bad movie.  That is one I considered the worst movie ever made.  But its so bad that I am drawn to watch it.

Freddy Got Fingered is also a bad movie, but its Tom Green.  I mean... what the hell did you expect?

Others that fall into the "I can't believe how bad that was" to the point of simply having to watch them:

Ghosts of Mars
Driven
Get Carter
Behind Enemy Lines
Battlefield Earth
Hackers

Damn... there's just too many to list.

One thing is constant:  Whenever I say "That may be the worst movie ever made!" my wife will always reply "Was it worse than Ishtar?"  The only answer to that question can be "No... not that bad."

If you are not in the mood to try and figure out the storyline then I can see why people walked out of this one.

Same reaction for Natural Born Killers. Took me a viewing or two to overlook the violence and admire the satire.

BioDome is saved from being the worst by being shorter than Ishtar. But pound for pound it's a goner!
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

I have never walked out of a movie.  I kind of approach movies the same way as MiniT.

The only one that I seriously wish I had walked out on was Boxing Helena.  That movie was complete crap.  Stupid soap opera "its all a dream" storyline.  Just a plain waste of film.

MT,

I agree.  "Born Losers" was pretty bad.  Not as bad as "Billy Jack."

Can't say anymore...my...my...gorge is beginning to rise.
