I like Techron by Chevron, It's good stuff. Don't waste your money on STP Gas. Now if ya want that little boost on the weekends, carry a bottle of Outlaw or 104+ in the trunk. I'm just wondering how long that 1st set of rear tires is gonna last, heheh.

Kelly Springfield are great tires. You can buy Futura's at Pep Boys, they're made by K-S and cost a LOT less.

My first ride was a 67 Mustang Coupe, with a 289 in it. I paid 2,100$ for it and it was junk. But 2 years and 3K$ later it sold for 8,900$. The cowlings were leaking into the int, it was compleatly rusted out. Pulled it up and found a life time warrenty sticker from ford. I called them up, they hooked me up with a classic car div, they sent me two new floor pans. I also got a poster, and the org sales sticker for it. Come to find out my stang was a star. It was used in a few Ford comercials, and it was on a few bill boards.
So that alone made the car worth alittle more. I restored it to its org cond. My dad helped me day and night.
2 years later it rolled out, in Fire enigne red (I named it radar gun red, due to the 4 tickets I got in just 6 months in it) It had a white vinyl top, steel rims. I had to compleatly re-do the 289. Some knuckle head painted the engine block red. When all Ford Engine blocks were blue back then. The only thing I added to it was a set of flowmasters, CD player speakers, and a sticker on the back window that had a chicken, and a scaredy cat about to fight.... said NO FEAR. I miss that car.
Back in oct 02, I bought a new toy. 03 Roush Stage III prem. I got the laser red paint pkg. Fully loaded. It pushes 360HP, and around 380 Ft Lbs of Torque. I am hoping to pull it out of storage here in the next few days..... Run pony run. ;)

If the motor is stock it should run fine on 87 or 89 octane. You shouldn't need high test unless your runing boost or alot of timing.

If you feel the need for some octane booster don't waste your money on that crap they sell in the stores. Make your own.

Oh Man, those are sweet. I have only seen 1 on the road and wanted to carjack the guy for it! I'd love to see the new Bullitt Edition Stang...I WOULD carjack that!
I remember my 1st car...Canary Yellow 68 F-100 Long Bed Stepside with the spare mounted on the side. 260cid Straight 6 with Granny 4 Speed. Yeah...we were hicks, but I got more tail in the back of that truck than I've had in the last 5 years.

Ya pay for a hot car, discuss what kind of fuel, but you want to skimp on tires?

Remember, the tires are the only thing that touches the road, everything else sits on top of the tires.

Buy good ones.

Good tires and good gas.  Baby your car - WTF is wrong with you cheapskate?  :D

Now when you want to void the warrenty, give me a call and we'll talk forced induction - 4.6L is alot of space going to waste without a blower.  :D
