"If David aka COORS has any issues he knows he can talk to us....he has done that before....many times....I just feel sorry he never said it before.... "
Well, gee. My original post was really at least half a joke. The thing about our politics is true but it's not really why we are not in your squad. It was just a friendly jab at the left wingers in 418. Look, the 418 roster is full of great guys. you guys have Mr. Hedd for cryin out loud!!! We do have very different political views but there was a problem in the beginning that was really just a misunderstanding. Coors and I have flown together for a long time, once terrorizing the RR euro crowds of AW. We wanted to merge with a squad that had a great group of guys that we were familiar with.. hmm who?... hmm. Coors suggested the 418. Great idea!!! We know many of the guys, what a great bunch!!! Coors was concerned that I had bumped heads w/ a guy in your squad.( I do that) I couldn't even think of who he was talking about. Then he said, "What about you and SLO?"
I was confused, I love the guy. Slo and I have our discussions and differing views but we both go back to AW RR and had some great fights and wing sorties. No.. nothing but love there.
So we decided to join the fabulous 418. Coors joined and I waited for my invitation.. and waited, ,and waited. When none was forthcoming, I assumed that I was unwanted.(I tend to be a jerk sometimes and just figured I had offended someone). So I moved on to the equally fantastic 412th! another great group and dedicated pony squad. The problem: Coors and I want to fly together, he's a great wing, good friend and helps me in many ways. So, we decided to both join the 412th, not for any other reason than that I felt like I was invited to the 418 as a package deal w/ Coors, sort of as a not-so-wanted afterthought. Then, after it was all over, Busher approached me and we realized that there had merely been a miscommunication and that my feeling of being slighted were entirely unfounded. However, the deed was done and Coors and I were in the 412th. It's a happy ending though because Busher and I got things straight and we are having fun in the 412th. So, please, stop this thread... at least about the part where you guys feel I slighted the 418.. a finer bunch of guys has never been assembled in a flight sim.
