« on: April 25, 2003, 11:05:32 AM »
Welcome to the Continuation War Finland/Russia 1944.

This a-historical setup is an extension of the Russian-German war. It's May, 1944 and the two sides are still fighting for Leningrad as the German war machine starts to loose steam - or has it?

Arena Settings:

Objects: (AAA,FH,etc) 30 minutes downtime
Fuel: 1.2
Morning: 5:45am
Evening: 6:45pm
AAA: .7
All other settings CT norms.

Aircraft:
Russia
La-5FN
Yak-9T/U
P-40E
A-20
IL-2
B-26
C-47
Panzer
Tiger (T-34)
M series
Ostie

Germany/Finland
Brewster
Hurri I
Bf 109F4/G2/G6/G10
Bf 110G-2
Fw 190A-5/8/F-8
Stuka
Ju 88A-4
C-47
Panzer
Tiger
Ostie
M series

Notes:
Vehicle Hangars have certain aircraft enabled as well. Germany: Brewster, Hurri I, Ju-87
Russia: P-40E, IL-2

Bf 109G-10 is perked at 2. Tigers at 3

Ships have LVT's, guns, and PT boats enabled.

Enjoy!

Hello MrFork and thank You hosting my FinRus!

I just were on the CT-arena and there is a little mess with setup... Look your mailbox, please, I send to you the same historical setup list than to Sabre in last month!

Maybe it help's you, because the field setup is very difficult in the FinRus map because of the Finnish/Germany bases.;)

Plane set is messed up. Both sides have same planes and there is no G-10,A-8, or 9U's.

Mr Fork,

I have an interesting question.

You show the Brewster as being in one of the plane sets.

I was not aware that the Brewster -Buffalo had been
model in AH.

Did you perhaps mean that the Hurri-I would be a
stand in for the Brewster?

Thanks.

I believe the FM2 is the sub for the Brewster.

Since the G10 is perked at 2 point, I recommend the Yak9U would be perked at 1 point.

It's not the Brewster Buffalo.  It's the fediddleing Super Buffalo of Death.  :D

The F2A (which is basically what the Finnish Buffalo was, tho I think it was designated the B-239 or something like that) and the F4F-8 (which is basically what a FM-2 is, it's just General Motor's version of Grumman's Wildcat) have very little in common other than the F2A is the grandfather of the F4F-8 and both have four 0.50 MGs.  ;)  If our F4F-4 could be forced to use the 4 0.50's package, I think it'd be a better sub for the Buffalo.

Then again, the La5's will have their hands full with the G-2/G-6, and even more so when a perked G-10 comes around.  :)

Thank heavens for no lend lease Hurri IIc's.  It's nice to have a Russian setup without them for once.  :)

This is host's setup. not Finn's. I have made the Russian skin to Hurri II and my opinion is that it must be there. Mr Fork, why not?
