Hmm, so this is a surprise?

No doubt you are aware that in Gulf War 1, the French Defence Minister, Jean-Pierre Chevenement, directed his senior commander in the Gulf to forward regular updates to him on the allied planning for Desert Storm.

Not really a problem, except that M. Chevenement also happened to be a member of an organisation known as the French-Iraq Friendship Society.

Edit: But you are right. Some people have made up their mind ... on both sides.

Sounds like you fit into the category of having made up your mind?

NOT FOX NEWS:

Hmmmm, you think the apparent objectivity of the testing being done here is a ruse?

A blonde bought a new Lexus, and returned the next day, complaining that the radio didn't work.

The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated. "Watch this!" he said..."Nelson!" The radio
replied, "Ricky or Willie?" "Willie!" he continued....and "On The Road Again" came from the speakers.

She drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time she'd say, "Beethoven", she'd get beautiful classical music, and if she said, "Beatles!" she'd get one of theirs.

One day, a couple of kids in hot rod cars ran a red light as they raced each other down the road and nearly creamed her new car. Luckily she was able to swerve in time to avoid them.

'extrahunkS!" she yelled.....and the radio began to play the French National Anthem.

Has anyone yet realised that americans are being more anti- than whole europe together?
I mean, all this bashing, name changing, boycotting...

And yet we, europeans, have many times heard americans telling us we're anti-american, because many europeans just didn't agree with the offensive war, aka "pre-emptive defensive war".

Now which is more anti-country?

To compare our tactics against an enemy with nukes versus one without and to then say we don't have the stones to carry out our foriegn policy is ignorant.

There are many ways to defeat an enemy....military force is only one option.

If ya don't like Bush, then at least have the character to admit it rather than ramble on about issues you your ignorant of.

Fishu....

The difference between the US and Europe for the most part is this....we are, as a nation, not interested in a one world, UN directed, world court ordering, Kioto treaty loving group of citizens.

Unlike most countries in Europe, we are able to sustain ourselves without much help or cooperation....should we all try to get along and would that be in everyones best interest? Sure it would....but not at the expense of who we are as a nation.

I know that bothers much of Europe and they feel we should cooperate more with the goals and ideas born there, but we are who we are....it's not that you or the people of Europe have become our enemies due to opposing views, it's that the governments actively tried to prevent us from what we felt needed to be done. That made it a different animal altogether.
