Anyone know where I can find out when the next airshow at Van Nuys, CA is taking place?

Cool, didn't realize how close Chino was!  I'll try and attend, thanks!

I'd love to go back again but I have to stay here.

But if you go take plenty of P-38 pics :)

Unfortunetly the P38 is on tour in the midwest. Don't think it will be back in time.

Animal, if you want P38 pics email me at wvoss62 @ Yahoo . com

C`mon dude, it'll be a hoot and a half, just like the last time. We won't climb fences this time though :)

Chino air show is May 17 and 18, right?  The E3 convention in LA is May 15, 16 and may prove to be a good combo with the air show.  Games, electronics and warbirds.  Maybe some of those in the field can use the E3 as a tax write-off for the trip.

Just bring your nose plugs when you go to Chino fellas...  It's smack dab in the middle of dozens of cattle ranches. Without exaggeration, I tell you the smell will bring tears to your eyes...

I will say one thing however... Next time you smell a bunch of cow manure, you'll immediately think of the great time you had at Chino. What a museum! I had an absolute blast there. Wish I could make the airshow.

Last chino airshow I had the mother of all hangovers. In mietla's car I was about to throw up in funked's head and then make a run for it back to LA because he is huge. I'm pretty sure my drunken antics caused a bad first impression!

But when I met the P-38 pilots the situation improved tenfold. Those old people made me very happy.

mietla I would love to go back again, but like funked I'm also in a tight spot economically. Next year we should plan it, maybe also a LAN party at your place? :)

No polish vodka though, that **** makes you climb fences and talk incoherently with slurred speech.
