Good fighting on both sides... a massive raid to 22 by knits.. JG/2 stole a buncha allied P38's and were JABO'ing the hell outta 22 with em.. (25 plane jabo strike!) They ripped it up in grand fashion; knocking out all the hangers and acks, but the bishes mass scrambled from 21 and cut off the reinforcements and intercepted the goons from knit 14, forcing an otherwise textbook attack to wither on the vine.
During this period; 13 falls to bish, V49 to the knits. Early on it looked to be a murderous evening.. lordy; parts were fallin everywhere.
And that was just the warmup show.. next came the 4 hour mele at 15... Field capture goons and troops destroyed on the field at least 5 times with more than 50 planes in the air overhead; knits attacking from 14 and 4 simultaneously. An intense furball that was a full grid thick. The bish radar had the measles.
.. but capture DENIED.
Finally; along about midnight eastern the knits shifted focus to the rooks.. so we all took a deep breath, patted each other on the back and then promptly ordered a new truckload of knit spray. (aerosol; BPN 3674.757.295-JG/2)
