Today I watched the unbelievable on Comedy Central-a woman was not even bare-chested, but the area was blurred nontheless. Maybe some nipples were showing, maybe the thing she was wearing was a bit transparrent. Your children can see that level of nudity on the street or in a room with A/C on

At the same time, the movie abounded with uncensorred references to oral sex and erections.
Does one have to have the IQ of a dead slug to be a television censor?

I thought of this the other day while listening to the radio. A local morning program here will talk about sex-realted matters all morning, but they will censor the word "damn" from that song by Avril what's-her-face where she says, "it's a damn cold night".

All the TV channels are doing is complying with the laws of the country and the wishes of their sponsors. If you don't like it, vote for somebody who will change the laws, don't watch commercial TV and don't buy products from the sponsors.

Yes, if they show boobies, buy more of the sponsor's products. Channel 2 (KTVU) in Oakland used to show boobies and bush after hours (after 11pm) I think. They left a lot of old movies unedited. Of course now all those old movies have been replaced by infomercials. Kill your TV.

Well we could prove we aren't stupid, by not buying all the crappy products advertised on network TV. But nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the public. As Jello Biafra said, "The Dumbest Buys The Mostest."

I spend most of my time watching Skinemax, they advertise a lot of boobies... I have yet to find them being sold anywhere.

I am truly disappointed.
