Lesson Learned:  don't disagree with anyone in America or stand up for what you believe or people will want you to disappear.

That's the last straw from the Dixie Chicks! I'm deleting all their files from my KaZaA Lite shared folder and I won't steal their music any longer!

Lesson Learned: If you piss off your customers dont be surprised if they arnt your customer anymore.

Not much more than that. Now if the justice department was swooping in and gathering DChicks albums and shutting down their concerts as a threat to national security I could understand the paranioa.

Hanoi Jane did ok after the war.  She single-handedly spawned the celebrity work-out videotape industry.

I think its just a bunch of celebrity attitude problem hoo-ha, kind of like the spat between Kurt Busch and Jimmy Spencer.

Yeah, but Hanoi Jane had a great body. That Dixie Chick chick is fat and not very attractive.

Heya Classy Man, you ever get all the nuts and bolts on your BMW converted from Metric to Standard to match your tools?

Freedom of speech isn't a one-way street.

What? It that all it's about?  One of them makes some point about some redneck flag waving geetar player they have issues with and the good ol' country music world is 'dissappointed with them agin?

Get a sense of proportion people!!!!

It think half the problem is that they are some uppity women riling the good ol' boys in Opryland.

One point though, freedom of speech is not a right. Check it out if you don't believe me.

Spoken like a true communist.  I can speak my mind but you are not allowed to disagree.

See the Dixie Chicks exorcised their freedom of speech and we exorcised our freedom of choice and we choose to not give a Dixie **** about them or thier beliefs.

The problem wasn't that they disagreed but that they were disrespectful.  It was simply in bad taste to go to England and try to suck up to the crowd who were also anti bush and say they were embarassed that he was also from Texas.

That wasn't constructive, it was just an underhanded insult.

they expressed their opinion of Bush and many Americans are expressing their opinions about them.

Who sees a difference?

Oh no!  Is there any way to get my freedom of speech back once it's been exorcised?!  I didn't want it to go away, really I didn't!

thats right IMSNEAKY

See the Dixie Chicks exorcised their freedom of speech and we exorcised our freedom of choice

if you weren't so myopic, you'd see that thats what was being said.

the first post said "Won't it be nice when those Dixie DipSh*ts disappear!"...for exorcising their freedoms.. kinda extreme. get it?

btw, its not American to be in bad taste or insulting
