German Arrested in France Is a Key Al Qaeda Boss

---PARIS (Reuters) - A German man arrested in France last week on suspicion of links to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States is a top leader of the al Qaeda network, France's Interior Minister said Wednesday.

Christian Ganczarski, 36, was arrested at Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport on June 2.

"Intelligence services know that he is a top leader of al Qaeda, in contact with Osama bin Laden himself, and has been in Afghanistan and Bosnia," Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy told parliament. ------

Boroda, go have another glass of wine.

The 'wheel', as described above, will continue to grind away at these terrorists , something they are beginning to learn.

The should have known better to awaken the sleeping giant...

IMHO, for most of the 90's, the leadership of this country allowed the world to forget that we were a sleeping giant and we consequently became a "feasible target".

In Mexico only those that are in the law enforcement agencies, military or in sport shooting/hunting clubs are allowed to own or possess firearms.  So it's not rare to see individuals (such as those in the narco-cartels, insurgents, etc...) being charged with such a crime in Mexico.

The French were always on the case against Islamic terrorists. They were warning anyone who would listen that there was a threat long before 9/11.  They basically expelled all their terrorists who ran to London and claimed asylum. The French intelligence service nicknamed London, Londonistan because so many extremists plotted freely there while MI5 and the CIA slept.

But the sleeping giant is awake now and while the wheel grinds ever slowly it will surely grind Al Qaeda into the sands from whence they came.  Sooner the better for all of us.

That was Clinton wasn't it?  When the WTC got bombed in 93? Or were you refering to the USS Cole?  or the Kobar Towers?  Or maybe one of the three times OBL was offered to the US?
