I prefer a good currywurst, brotchen on the side with whipped butter...mmmm.

In Swabisch Gmund they were still called brotchen :)

Anyone who has ever driven an 18 Wheeler will tell you the consumate gut-bomb is Pilot Fuel Stop Hotdogs. They are 1/4 Pounders with Chili, cheese, jalapenos, relish, onions, hot sauce and mustard (mayo if you walk on the wild side). 1 of those bad boys will keep you awake for 6 hours easy.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

I hate you guys.  Tonight I was all set to cook up some nice salmon filets on the grill when I ran across this thread.  An hour later, salivating furiously, I ran off to the store to grab some Hebrew Nationals and the full assortment of orthodox Chicago condiments.

Best.  Hotdogs.  Ever.

Gd DAMN that sounds good!

There is this device called the 'hot-diggity-dogger'..looks kinda like a toaster.. with slots for two buns and a little rack for two dogs.. pop the lever down and it toasts the buns and cooks the dogs at the same time.. they make the greatest dogs ever.

(here's an example)

Heheh I just had camarones rellenos at a local place.  Giant shrimp, stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, deep fried, served on a bed of lettuce and guacamole, and topped with chipotle mayonaise.

you can't really get a good hotdog unless someones playing baseball nearby.  they jsut taste better when watching a game.(the only real exception is Otto's sausage kitchen, when they fire up the grill to cook their own dogs, it's always good)
