lol they're both mine ;)
If I'm gonna try to put it in the garage I need to get the door spring tightened.

Syzygyone thats a sweet pic lol, I dont care what your driving a head-on with anything roughly same size/weight as you is going to do reciprocal damage. Although it looks like the H2's frame faired better. I'd expect the hood to shatter as it is fiberglass.

CHances are...if he just bought this H2 recently, some of those quality control issues are addressed in the later build-date autos.  That was the case with my July-build car (they start production for the following year usually in August/Sept)

Just looked it up.. only two minor issues (recalls) with the early-build 2003 Hummers.

Yeah, I know, I was j/k.  They are waaaaay cool.  I wanted an original but wife said No Wway!  So when the H2 came out, I had hope.  But, alas, college tuition came along !  Dang!

The pic shows that the personnel cab survived largely in tact.  IIRC that collapsing front end thing was a design criteria taken from basic VOLVO concept.

Keep the shiney side up!

:D

Took it to San Antonio this weekend, wifies parents have some acreage in the hill country. lol there were some areas I wouldn't go through because of the brush. I just wish it rained more there wasn't any mud.

Sat in the H1 at the dealership, actually considered it for a moment, but the cost is to high for me. With my dad's GM employee discount I couldn't say no to the H2.

Anyone have a .50 in there closet they wanna sell cheap?

Don't let her drive it or you'll never get it back.

I lost my 4runner for 4 years that way.  Had to buy her an Xterra just to get my beach truck back.

Question: what are the handles on the hood for?  I was playing in a volleyball tourney this past weekend and they had an H2 set up for promo purposes.  I tugged on the handles on the black thingy in the hood but it wouldn't budge.  I was thinking it'd be a great place for a Hibachi. :p

I really like your H2 but damn GM just cant move beyond those cheap parts bin looking interiors, its really a shame as they make very good "cars" but they dont put the same thought into the interiors. This is really obvious in upmarket vehicles like this H2 and most shamefully the Corvette..

That's where the hood mounted TOW missles go!
