Gents... I'm not tryin to break HTC's chops.. not at all.
It would do them no good to report everything is hunky-dory when it ain't.
I can appreciate the servers being hammered with the downloads... but it's still an issue. Mebbe the DL site should be OFF the HTC servers. 72 hours of hammered arena flying ain't real 'user friendly' when exploring new features like the consistent dump to desktop.
Further.. I cannot fathom why half the folks in this thread see dramaticly reduced frame rates and the others don't see any change at all.... regardless; mine are screwed, and I'm just not in a financial postion to buy a new machine... and that IS a problem.. for me.
As for flight model performance and gunnery.. I'll try again tonight and put up another 4 hours... and tell yah what I find as objectivly as possible.
Certainly; if something is 'wrong' I know HTC will fix it.. I don't expect anything less... but if its 'right' on your machine, and 'very wrong' on mine they need to know that too.
Will do a full download of the new version tonight as this one I'm flying has been patched up since beta... mebbe thats the problem. Sure would be nice if they threw up some data here and tried to steer me in one direction or another to find out whats wrong... oh well; i guess I'll just have to wander thru the minefield of drivers and versions and get REALLY pissed off after all that and find its no better....
