I bought F1 2002 yesterday, downloaced the GTR mod, and the patched everything. This is so freakin awesome. I can't wait till they get around to modeling the 2003 season. I want that T400R lol.

Really, thanks for all of the enthusasim, I'm having a blast.

Just fired up GTR once again, but just the F360 cup, love that car!

Trying the Racer Driver multiplayer demo brought me back to driving, even if just for a little bit.

Race driver is pretty but GTR is still much better IMO

I've been doing the rsdg.net mods for F1 2001 (I love the Sebring track) and have F1 2002.  I tried to d/l the simbin GTR mod on Friday but the connection timed out.  I'll give it another shot tonight.  We've been having heavy rains and that may have contributed to my problems (i.e. - everybody else in the neighborhood was bored out of their minds, too, so they also decided to try and surf the 'net and the cable company couldn't handle the traffic).

Download connection from the Hungarian site timed out twice.  All of the other links seem to require registration.  Is the software worth the spam?

Got GTR 2002, turbo mod, Sports Car mod, GTR Ferrari 360 mod. Been lapping Barcelona Spain at 1.23 best lap in Mclaren and Monoca in a Mclaren Turbo mp4-2C at 1.30 best lap. That car is a frikin handfull. I've seen lap times in the 1.18 for Spain and 1.21 range for monaco in the modern cars at the various websites.

WTG guys :)

Be sure to put your hotlaps here:  http://www.findthelimit.com/gtr2002/

I'm on there as "FunkedUp".  My only legal hotlaps so far are for Spa in GT class, so rank is kinda high:

I drove Spa until I could beat the AI at 35% distance, so now I am contesting the championship.  Magny Cours is first, always a hard track for me.  Also I switched to the Prodrive 550.  :)

Only crashes I had were when I installed cars incorrectly.

I've heard of lap top computers and palm computers, but this pants computer must be a new british invention.

I have a question, when you drive these cars are you able to drive from "inside" the car like NASCAR Racing and GPL? If so I need to get it too. If not...well I just don't car for driving from outside the car :).
