I have been away from AH for a bit because of computer problems. I came back tonight for the first time in a while and had my first encounter with none other but the "infamous" Shane. After all the name calling and general B.S. that has become his trademark. I faced him once again and, of course, was shot down.

I have nothing against Shane as a virtual pilot. He is good, very good, but to be perfectly honest, his type of immature gameplay really makes it a disappointment to play. I guess Hitech Creations doesn't care how many people become disgusted with his behavior and eventually leave the game.

As for me, well, I am not leaving. However, I do believe that Hitech should try to control this type of behavior for the good of the game. Perhaps a ban for a period of time would help curb his demeanor.

I realize that one can turn Channel 1 off and thereby avoid hearing him, but what about all the other players that have Channel 1 on? Something to think about.

Oh well. Good night fellow AHer's. I hope you enjoy Shane's immature behavior.

lololololol... waaaaahhhhhhh!!! you get whacked in a 3 on 1 (me being the 1) and called a chicken for running all the way back to your acks and help.

you're 12k, climbing to abt 14k or so, you see a dot you start heading back to base about ohhh a good 7-8 miles away. the dot closes some, you acquire icon at 3k (CT) ooooo it's a 109 vs your pony.... run, diiiivveeeeee, diiiivvvveeee.... i follow riding out compression, see you finally making it close to base, very close....

i see a p51b coming for me from base, i peel off to engage it, turn with it, shoot it down, see two othe rponys higher coming in for me, see you also finally turning back from your fleeing to try for me.... hmmm 3 v 1 eh? i think i'll get that lamer that ran all the way back here and then let that p51b die w/o helping before those two high ones get me...

sure enough, here they come, i turn to you, shoot you down - ahhh wire - , then end up fighting off the 2 higher ponys, almost nailing one that got low and tried to extend.

no joy. tower... "wire, u are an unbeleivable chicken." that was it.

then you start getting all snotty on ch1 trying to play word warrior, so i slap you back down. stop trying to act like some victim here when you know full well you got quite insulting on ch1 before i did, discouting the tepid chicken comment.

lol.

5:26 min film available of which 2:30 was spent running down and chasing wire back to his base. it even catches the above comment (which is where it ends.)

maybe you should spend a little more time in the TA. You might realize that a p51d is more than a match for a 109g10 with gondolas and you wouldn't have to fly like a total timid milquetoast. you might also want to dump the rockets next time. altho a g10 with gondolas isn't the hottest turning thing around, either.

and, pal, if you're trying to take some high road here, why don't you relate the insults you threw at me, huh? lol. i love the smell of burning hypocrisy in the morning.

second time i shot you down, i didn't even say a word, lol.

Wire, the command is ".squelch Shane" then you can hear Ch 1 less the other stuff. Hopefully AH2 will have a perma-squelch list as you have to do this everytime you logon.

Wire, no real use in posting about it. He lives for these threads and thrives on them. 90% of us feel the same way you do. Just squelch him and enjoy it when you nail his mouthy butt:D

well yeah, my point was if he showed a little more initiative, he'd not have even been called.... horror... waaaahhh, mommy!!... he called me "chicken!!" i mean from me, that's showing a lot of restraint, lol.

then of course instead of simply saying nothing or just lol-ing it off, he gets all pissy on ch1 and insults me, so i toss it back at him, we trade a few barbs...

he's trying to come off all innocent when he himself made the first personal remarks directed right to *me*, *not* at my pixel pushing skills.

Either way he will enjoy the game better if he just squelches you instead of going back and forth with you. He'll never be up to your "standards of playing" no matter what he does. None of us will for that matter:D faux <~~> for you because i know you love them~~

oh i dunno about that, there's a few coming along, i just have to get to them before they get too beaten down into the rut of mediocrity you seem to be resigned to.

I will say it again. Problems with players in the game do not get resolved by posting about it on the bulletin board. If you have a complaint, we at HTC are more than willing to listen.
