A long overdue "hats off" to Flossy

My wife and I were were just cruising the BBS and got to talking about Flossy.
  We realized that those new to this addicting world might not know how much she contributes to our world.
  In AW as in AH Flossy has always been there to help the noobie and the vet alike.
  Floss is the voice of reason in a world of "chest beaters".
  On vox and in text , even in the most heated of flame wars, she always comes through calmly and reasonably to iron out  our probs.
  In events, as in gameplay in the MA , she always puts the other player before herself and puts forth a lot of effort to make the game more enjoyable for all.
  Myself and Tazer1 (my wife) would like to extend a big Texas "hats off" and to one of the games most important and enjoyable players.
  Have a great time at the CON Flossy. Wish we could be there.

Damn straight! She was always one of the best citizens in the AW community, and was a very effective volunteer staff member too. I'm proud to have been able to work with her there.

I'm glad to see her efforts being recognized here at AH.

I shot down 2 of her bomber formation once.  I felt horrible...like I had just committed an act of friendly fire.  I quickly apologised and left the other bomber flying.  Shooting her down just felt WRONG.:(

Flossy is top notch. Is always ready to lend a helping hand and work for the community. And she is the rudder of BigWeek, steering a clear course for us. But above all, a true lady. Each of you, please give her an extra bear hug for me at the Con.

Oh my goodness!  I don't know what to say, or what I have done to deserve all this!  :eek:

Thanks all for your good wishes, but really I don't think I'm anything special.... I simply enjoy the game (as I did AW while it lasted) and like helping others to enjoy the game as much as I do.  Getting involved in the CM Team seemed like a natural progression when I came to AH, as I have always loved special events - and I can't thank banana enough for inviting me after I made a tentative application after the Bigweek Scenario.  :)

I am really looking forward to meeting some of you at the Convention - my first ever US one, and something I have always wanted to get to since I first started in AW almost 5 years ago to the day!  I am sorry Zeb can't be with me, as the airfare was too costly for both of us, and I must thank him too for the great trust he is putting in me by sending me to the Con on my own.  I wish everyone could be at the Convention, but to those of you who can't - maybe we will finally meet at a future convention!

Well Helen,

I think its your good hearted generosity, commitment to the comunity,  your work ethic with events, and your overall great dispoition that has earned you that respect.

You are bright spot here, and in other places that we all appreciate.  

Thank you for all you Give... a little praise is easy to give in return :)  

(PS.  Plus your a Krait, thats a plus in my book. ::holds up my Krait patch::)
