O.K. you can't stop drinking beer otherwise you get stupid and I'll explain as was explained to me by some highly educated Ph.D. type:

The Buffalo Theory
 ------------------
A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo.  When the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

P.S. I just know I'm going to be that slow buffalo

Some of the various brands that I would reccomed for this study are.

Guiness, It just has to have a high Caloric Intake.

Fat Tire, Its a micro brew that was in Colorado when I was there, should have spread by now, I believe it came in 20Oz Bottles.

Samuel Adams.  Not sure of the Caloric Value, but mighty Tasty.

Our Canadian Friends provide us with,

Labatts Blue.

A canadian Friend in my office also reccomends;

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale.

If your fond of the American Pilsners, I go with MGD (Miller Genuine Draft.)

Other Mentionables.

Killian's Irish Red.
Molson Canadian
Heineken (But only in Adam)
Elephant Beer (But Only In Denmark)
Fosters (But Only in Australia)
San Miquel (But only in the Phillippines)
Moosehead Dry (but only in Canada)

I also volunteer to be in the Study Group.

Many people equate me to Homer Simpson,

What's the difference? In the morning you'll wake up with the 8.00 p.m. date anyhow, Downtown.

Canadian beer for hi alcohol content?  My friend, head across the pond!  Find you some good German bier in the 12% ranges.  Some of them will be so thick with hops and barley and such floating around in them.  It's the beer that eats like a meal!

And ramen by itself is no great treat, but by adding lots of peppers and yer favorite Dinty Moore microwave lunch bucket type deal, is a vastly different creature.  All you military types, submerge that MRE entree in a ramen, an amazing increase in palatability!  (Tho oz pretty sure nothing could ever save the Tuna /w noodles or Chicken ala King.  They pretty hopeless.)

Zath, u drunk at work again?

Omygawd, I had suppressed the memory of the that chicken-ala-king (shudder...).

Although,  I'd still take that over the dehydrated pork patty.

Beef strips in bbq sauce was the best!
