I've heard alot of complaints that fighting same map over and over for a week. Is very boring. If we voted on map rotation, would you change it?

I was thinking map roatation like before,at end of war. but change on friday if large map is been up a week? so worst case would be large map 13 days at most? I myself find fighting same small map over and over boring fast atleast big map u may see different bases during next war.

Anything that will rotate us thru these small maps quicker so we can get to the REAL maps is just fine with me.

One further point for anyone at HTC reading this:

The whole point of setting up the one-map-per-week idea in the first place was because we (the players) voiced concern over the length of time Trinity takes to reset.  Without a forced map change every friday we'll be stuck on Trinity for weeks every time it rolls round.

Ok.

So how about changing the setup slightly so that when a map is reset it changes to the next one.

If the same map has been up for a week then auto change it on friday.  That will take out the "Trinity effect".

Does that have something to do with a mushroom cloud? :)

But for all it matters, I think swoop's idea is the best thing going.

I like it the way it is...  :)

It hard for me to understand people getting tired of a Map staying up for a week.    Thats not a big deal to me.

I think the way its done currently is the fairest way,  everyones favorite map is up for the same length of time, and its an equal amount of time before they come back.

Small Maps might only see a few hours up under the proposal suggested here.   The Big maps would be dominate.

Another plus with the current system,  You can actually pre-plan a squadnight based on the terrain type.   Thats kinda nice.

So,  I say its working well now...  its fair and enjoyable  :)

yes Dont know how the decision to lock maps for a week was made or what efffect was hoped for. But some of these maps do not derserve a week of our time any more. Mandino was a good 250 -300 person map. It has real problems as a 450-550 person map.
Please the old reset rule was better. Or if there is no reset in a week then change maps arbitrarily.

Good suggestion! Hope they take notice. I disagree Grimm. The current situation is NOT enjoyable. YMMV.

This way we'll be playing the following maps per week:

5 ours on each of the small ones, rest of the week on either pizza or trinity.

Why does no one like the small maps?
