Not just a Ki61 but it appears that there is a Ki 43 or maybe a different Zero flying low level attacks as well. What a dumb *** to have box art like that for all the flight sim people to look at. Just exactly what sort of immersion do they want to get? Idiots I guess.

lol. That's as bad when Battlefield:1942 showed latter war P-51D's in their artwork.  Then again from what the WildShill has always said that is the same demographics he's chasing.

You know it always seems that he gets these ideas as other companies are doing them.

I remember when he announced making a WB jet sim back in '98, coincidentaly just after Kesmai announced planes for AW4: Vietnam.  Now he announced BoB that will encompass RPG elements, like getting medals and advancing in rank, which sounds strangely like AH2:ToD.

Can this guy come up with an original thought on his own?  Does he wait until some company announces plans for a game which then aspires him to copy in some form?

What's amazing from the WB forums is that none of the phan boyz caught the Japanese plane screenshot for the BoB game.

It seems like a great bit of marketing to nab the history channel logo and .avi films. It will give the game credibility like Jane's gave "Fleet Command" and unfortunately will lead to the same broken-hearted feeling when you realize you've just bought well sponsored crap.

Well... maybe not. I don't know enough about warbirds to make the judgement. Maybe these people will be happy to fork over the cash, but with the lawsuits and all, I just have Ill will towards the whole scene.

what really amazes me is how he takes an outstanding volunteer, no cost for iEN, effort made by the ETO team for wb3 , and slaps it into a half assed crappy game, hoping to make some small money.

I see this as a betrayl of the ETO team, which developed this terrain hoping for the continued development of the core product, which is wb3.

Instead he spends development resources on another crap box title, like FPA & ASS.

I can only offer my sympathy to those who are still sticking with iEN and wb3.
