They will use real ones for the school shooting caused by psychological trauma from his daddy denying them an XBox

LOL! Update on the Xbox...my son is doing a Summer "Workbook", basically it involves alot of the 3 R's and is a 2nd/3rd grade level (he just finished 1st).  If he finishes this by the time school starts, we've agreed to give in to the Xbox. :)  He's about 50% complete!  Positive reinforcement, reward for work... works great with kids. :)

mmmmmmmm... Ack! I couldn't stop myself from unbiting my tongue... I have to say it!

Rip... Swoop takes the initiative and makes the effort to create for you this nifty little poster with your kids on it and you don't even acknowledge it? Let alone a thanks? Don't be such a friggen putz - throw the man a bone! :)

Say "Thank you Swoop" and Swoops goes "You're welcome Ripsnort" and everyone's all happy and everything. That's the way they said it's supposed to work in school anyway. Er... but instead the above scenario is probably going to end in "He thanked me already in the MA" and "Yeah so mind your own business you, what was it?, oh yeah "friggen putz"!" :D

Actually that is a very good way to make him earn it.

Ahh, Nash, Swoops a squaddie, I took care of that already, don't sweat it. No worries, I have enough flaws that you'll eventually find one to exploit ;)

Taken tonight, doing some assembly line cleaning, 4 more to go!
Captioned this one "Taking the mystery out of firearms"

What's this Swoop? Not only did Rip not thank you for it, but now he's trying to lie and say he did?

First it's a lack of politeness, then it's a lack of honesty. Besides the method of cleaning guns, I hope you're teaching your kids these values which have obviously been lost on you.

 :p

(I'm just yankin' your chain. :) )

I was an Army playin fool. LOVED IT.

I have girls but when they were young that didn't hold me back.

Got a Fort Apache set and set it up in the den. Get all the cowboys and indians all set up.

Issued the kids rubber band guns and a huge bag of those good red rubber bands...

..and let the games begin.

ROFL Rip!!!

No kids here, but AFAIK it's still possible. I am at least firing live ammunition in that department, unlike some people I could mention!  Touché! ;):D

We used to "go on patrol" just after dark, with GI canteens and real army helmet plastic liners. Whenever a car came down the street, we'd hit the deck and hide behind trees to avoid being spotted.  Any patrol where we made it to the end of the street and back without being spotted was a successful mission.

Our guns were plastic M1s that fired soft plastic shells, M16s with those ratchet triggers, and assorted plastic cap guns.  The Daisy BB guns stayed safely stored under our beds for when the "real shooting" was going to happen.

We didn't have orange safety tips.
