When I was a kid, there WERE no orange tips! Hadn't been invented/thought of then.

We actually made our own Iron. It worked too, kinda. Thank cod it was kinda weak stuff. Sulphur, saltpeter and charcoal as I recall.

And playing "army" was cool. I remember running around the school all summer in full camo and realistic M-1 or luger or whatever. No one thought it would make us crazy killers.

In Montana, yes. My stepbrother had one with a 15 foot tube...on the hills, we were launching them about 1/2 mile! :D
