Well, the sooner you register, the better we can accomodate everybody. Also, we hope to end up with some extra money beyond our basic expenses, and the more lead time we have, the better we can spend this money on goodies for everybody - pizza, kegs of beer, exotic dancers, etc.
You can get the basic package as late as the first day of the Con (10/16) but there would be no guarantee of space for your computer in the Con Room. We would bust bellybutton to accomodate you though.
The last possible date to register for the full package is October 9. That's the cutoff for getting a seat at the banquet and an airshow ticket at the group rate. However you could get an airshow ticket at the gate, but you'd have to pay full price.
To get the special group rate for the hotel room you would need to register by September 25.
