I usually don't because its a waste of ammo, but I will shoot (a) if the icon hasn't changed to "Chute" yet, and (b) if the guy really pissed me off with gamey maneuver, like stick stirring.

Been a while, but I'm pretty sure AH has a built-in stick stirring solution. If you try it you get a message from system: "Pease don't move your stick so fast" - if you persist, it locks your controls for a few seconds. Something like that.

In the MA I normally leave them alone unless they pissed me off. Or its a nik or spit chute then they get popped. In events however I dont.

I don't mind shooting chutes from a M16 or Flak if they come too close to me and there is nothing more interesting to shoot at the time

I'll shoot a chute if I have the time and ammo. Reality of it is I have more kills in a chute and have seen more people auger tring to shoot a chute than I have been killed in a chute. To shoot a chute or not shoot a chute, the concept in this game, not worth getting your panties tied in a knot over. Get back up in a plane and shoot him back.... what do you have to loose?

Unfortunately shooting chutes has a downside. It has gotten to the point now where if my kill has bailed out and he knows it's me, the person will rarely open his chute and instead just do a body lawn dart into the ground.

i think i have also as many kill's in my chute as i do in a fighter (course i have 27 kill's this tour and at least 20 of them are in gv's:cool: )

Had yeager do this to me the other day. It really pissed me off. I had a perfect chute aproach all lined up and he refused to open it. Some people have no honor.

I only shoot chutes from P-51s and C-47s.
