What version of the Me 262 carried bombs?

The one we have might not have been able to carry them.
Maybe its time for a German Mutant Plane?

The one with dual pylons under the forward fuselage for the bombs and only 2 cannons.  Me262A-2a

Actually, no. There are photographs of Me-262A-1a aircraft (in particular, wk/nr 110813 of KG(j)51) carrying SC250 bombs on the nose racks with four cannon, as well as the Me-261A-2a version with only two cannon (as in 9K+BN of 5./KG(j)51), possibly a Me-262A-2a/U1, in which the space freed up by the removed cannon was used for a bomb-aiming device. So both the A-1a and A-2a versions could[/u] carry bombs; which particular aircraft of the A-1a version had the bomb rack mounts depended on the individual production -- most of the A-1a aircraft did not have the bomb rack fittings. There was also a single Me-262A-2a/U2 where the entire nose section was replaced with a nose blister and space for a bombardier to lay in the nose and operate a bombsight, which carried no cannon at all.

Just because the tiffie could carry 16 rockets doesn't mean that that feature shuld be added to AH.

For example, a P-47D could carry 2x 1k, 1x500, and 10 rockets, but it didn't regurlarly happen. Therefore, the P47 should not have that weapon layout available either.

I think by lowering the payloads of some fighters to somthing more realistic, several gameplay issues would go away.

I can't see anyone above requesting the Typhoon to have 16 rockets in AH.  Thrila is simply asking a question about a picture showing 16 rocket loadout on the Typhoon.

Shiva, yes what you say is true, but the Me262A-2a was a true bomber design while the 1a was a fighter, adapted to the bomber role.

I got the impression that some of the respondants were trying to draw attention on how it was lacking from AH, therefore subtly implying that it should be added.

I think Hazed also got that impression because he made the comment "oh and if we gonna start the 'i want' business..."

damn. I feel like a lawyer.
