Cool Thunder! Wish I had got some pics of the Hobbico Twin Trainer I was flying earlier this summer, but I didn't
. The fifth day I flew it, about the 10 or 11th flight I lost sight of it's attitude while setting up for a landing and augered it in
. Nothing like the sound of two engines, was fun to fly, even had and engine quit (the right one even) while doing touch n go's about 10 feet up, but recovered it some how and flew it around to land, looked cool taxiing back with only one prop turning.
Had a Thunder Tiger Lazy Tiger P51 after that but got bored with it and traded it for the Corsair above. I'm also building an old Royal P38 with a 74" wingspan, but it's gonna have all the bells and whistles and will take me until next summer to be able to afford all the gizmo's and get it built. Will get some pics of it up someday when there's somthing more to show of it, it's just framed up right now.
You guys have fun and don't auger any!
