You have to forgive Froggy, he hasn't been in this country long enough to understand election procedures yet.

Depends what his stance is on key issues is what will determine who will vote for him.  If his stance is that Bush mislead the public knowingly, then I wouldn't vote for him because thats simply not true.

After seeing Gen. Clark on a couple of talk shows. It sounds like he is going to be throwing his hate into the ring sometime soon. My question for you guys is how are you going to attack a 4 star general that states that this administration needs to be held accountable for misleading the american public? Someone that believes in the Clinton economic plan ( post-keyensian ). - Frogm4n

Mr. Clark, as you know, is no longer a General in the US Army.

He is now a politician running for the presidency - with no experience at all in administrative government. He needs to do all he can to define just how he differs from the encumbant Republican President to have any chance at all in winning the Democratic nomination and the Presidency. Keep that in mind when he gives his opinion. He is hardly an objective, neutral observer. He has to oppose Bush.

I'm sure there are other ex-Generals out there who disagree with Mr. Clark.

When it comes to political parties and politicians, its sort of like attorneys who hire "expert witnesses" to testify. Mr. Clark may genuinely believe what he says, but I take it with a grain of salt.

hey I notice you don't even get up till late morning, early afternoon. I'd stop using the crack, you're keeping late hours and its most likely not only affecting your whacked political views, but probably affecting your college ed-u-macation too.

oh dont mind ripsnort he is just jealous. He cannot defend the president and his goon squad so he busts out personal attacks. Maybe if he took a debate class he might learn a thing or two.

Mr. Scharzkopf, a private citizen, is also entitled to his opinion. He did express misgivings prior to the war in Iraq. For example, he made this statement in August 2002:

Here

Excerpt:

Schwarzkopf emphasised the dangers of an invasion without international consensus and military support because of the size and strength of the Iraqi Army.

“It is not going to be an easy battle but it would be much more effective if we didn’t have to do it alone”, he said, echoing views of other senior US military and political figures."

Apparently, Schwarzkopf did not have access to all the information the President had when he made the above statement. Obviously, Bush was right in his assessment of the state of the Iraqi army. I would like a link to Schwarzkopf's views of today, post war, if you have any...

The entire world was shocked at how quickly the USA entered Bahgdad. It didn't require the deaths of hundreds of thousands of lives as predicted by many of the antiwar people ...

Ironic to see people accusing of youth ignorance, yet they act like little children who cant argue a point without pointing out that you smell like fart and eat boogers.

Thankfully they will be moved out soon and replaced by a better, wiser, more logical and tolerant generation.
