CH and Thrustmaster - A good marriage?

My wife ordered a Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS for my birthday and I'm buying myself a set of CH USB Pro Pedals.  Will these work together?  And whilst I'm waiting for the Cougar, will the CH pedals work with my TM Afterburner stick and throttle.  The throttle has a rudder rocker on it and I was worried it might conflict with the pedals.

Also, anyone using either or both of these that would like to offer advice or feedback on how you use them and how happy you are/aren't with them, please feel free.

Last question, is the Cougar force feedback capable?

No force feedback on the Cougar unless you wanna design and build one :)

They recommend to use a gameport rudder set with the cougar as this plugs straight into the cougar stick and then is configurable within the cougar software for deadbands and response rates etc.

USB rudders will work but they will depend on configuration within each game.

As for the TM afterburner ... no idea.

The Cougar has a gameport plug for rudders.  If you have the gameport type, you can control the rudders as any of the Cougar axises.

If you use USB rudders, it will not be controled through the Cougar.  They should work fine an most the newer games.  It will show up like another controler.  AH will see the rudders.  Some older games may not see the rudders.

I use this exact combination for all my flight sim games, including Aces High,  and it works perfectly.

You'll love it. Better start pumping iron, though. The Cougar is going to make your arm sore at first. The springs are pretty stiff.

I've been working with my Bowflex three days a week.  That should help.

Wow, thanks to everyone for such great responses!  This is exactly the info I needed.  Now I know I'm getting the right equipment.  I was a little worried as the $$$ outlay on this is not pocket change . . .

The Cougar is wonderful. Issues? You won't be able to go back to anything else.
