another one bites the dust.
I have ben a co a long time and its interesting to watch the attrition rate of players in AH. seems most players play for an average of a year or two and move on, ussually their handle stays dormant in the squad before I delete them after several tours of not seeing them, they just fade away like old soldiers

then theirs the junkies like hblair, me, rude, kappa, manetmp, leviathn, wldthing etc etc list goes on, you know their handles, they've been around since beta and still play a lot.
but even the old hands fade away when the game stagnates and somthing better comes along.
thats what happened to warbirds. its still around bu in skeleton form, all the junkies in WB or a great many moved to AH and became junkies here.
with AH in frozen development for another half a year or so due to AH2 they will loose many subscribers to the competition many wont return for ah2 if they find somthing that suits them better before its released.
Im just curious if HTC ever plans to return to their old method of rapid release of small updates that included planes in every patch and sometimes between patches.
they have explained that they have again made plane production easier with AH2, but I heard this when AH was released too and no doubt the planes came out fast at frst but it seems to no longer be the case.
updates ae the lifeblood of an online game. without them we all eventually get bored and play somthing else. hope AH2 delivers the way AH1 did vs the competition because the competition is nipping at HTC's heels already and AH2 is many months away.
i dont have much interest in the TOD addition either unless it creates well matched furballs consitently and adds surprise and excitement that is absent from the current form of mission which is ussually pretty boring and one sided.
