I could definitely do with less night, shorter evenings and mornings as well.

If you hate night that much, just turn up gamma. Colors do get a little bland but gamma tweaking negates the night effect.

Get rid of night in the MA.  It has turned into a joke with all the people adjusting their monitors to minimise the effect, which defeats the whole purpose.  We had guys on here with threads describing how to lighten their screens...even downloadable applications to assist in this endevour.

I see night..I log off.

Why frame 4? All 4 frames have 1 hour of night each.

I like the nights just as they are. (And, no, I don't futz with my gamma adjustment.)

I'm not advocating keeping them as they are if a majority doesn't agree, I could do without nights if that's the case. I'm just saying, it ain't unanimous.

LOL!

Flying day VFR fighters in major night actions? Who's talking selective here? It just didn't happen. Night ops were a tiny fraction of day ops and as the war progressed night fighters became increasinly more specialized aircraft.

Nope, when the sun went down, most day VFR aircraft were parked and maintenance was done on them.

Hehe - was just giving Rude a wind-up. :D

Certainly, there were night bombing raids - London - but I don't know if there was a fighter escort or whether we scrambled fighters in response - probably not. The Germans even dropped a bomb on my home town. It landed in the red light district - LOL! -true

Night flying used to piss me off & then I got off my lazy bellybutton and finally changed the gamma settings on my monitor.  Now, night flying is interesting because I can see the other a/c just as if I were flying on a full-moon evening.

I suggest you guys figure out how to change your gamma settings!!!
