Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.

I don't know, I read Creamo's post and thought there was nothing negative in it.
A lot of people come and go from here and good thing they don't all go the dramatic route of trolling for sorrowful goodbyes on here or else the servers might choke due to the traffic.  Interesting thing though, you mention you'll probably be back in a couple months anyway so it may all be moot anyway.  I'm sure for those who want to say goodbye to truly "good friends", they'd have more private means to contact them or else they aren't truly "good friends" but more aquaintances.  The trouble with posting publicly is you won't always get the response you are looking for.
When I do go from here, I'll reach out directly to those good friends of mine instead of trolling for specific responses on the BBS.

I don't want to leave on a sour note so I'll remove my replies to Creamo except for the explanation as to why I posted.

WTG guys, this community has reached a new low.

Some people want to make me hang it up too.

Real good for business.

Revvin-

You've always been a good player and a class act. Take the high road and ignore the malcontents. I always said if something happened to my squad, I would apply to yours. Your a good leader, and I wish you luck in all you do. I certainly hope to see you back soon.

Drop me a line to let me know where you land.

Thanks for all your help over the years.

A new low?  "I'm leaving" posts have always attracted sarcasm.  Revvin's a big boy, I'm sure he'll be able to get over it without too many tears.  Anyhow, see ya in a few months Revvin...you'll be back.  I was gone for a few myself and it did a world of good.  :)

I'd say it's the other way around.  Creamo was being nice and now SOB comes in and uses smiley faces?

When the FDB's are being polite and encouraging, I'd say the community is as close to a tree hugging hippie commune as it could ever get...

but dang if I don't agree with Creamo about just keepin the $15 a month account open

I can't take the family out to dinner to McD's for $15 a pop let alone 30 days of #1 supersized.

For $15 a month, i'll keep it going if I drop down to an hour a month as I think AH is the best entertainment value bang for the buck.

just because it's on your computer, you don't have to click the AH button, really you don't, or do you, no you don't, don't, really, just do not click that iccooonnnn ...NNOooo!! :)

addiction is an entirely different thread :)

It cost $0.00 dollars to read and post on this board.  It could be reasonably argued that "Goodbye" posts are rather unnecessary in that context (which I think Creamo may have meant to say in so many words?).
