Author Topic: Will Offline drones have player ID's? (Read 314 times)

HT/Pyro,

I usually use Warbirds for my offline practice, and I was just doing some Jabo intercept when I realized that my wing men as well as targets all had Player handles. I guess these were from the early day's of Warbirds and HT/Pyro felt and obligation to those beta players there by including them(their Player handles in the offline arena).

So I thought I would ask since version 1.04 is to include offline play will you also include player handles in this package.

So now it is time to humbly beg to have my Player ID included in the offline drones.
Especially since I usually fly like a drone when I am online. Please, please, please, please, can I be a drone Please?

The WB drone names aren't player ID's, rather the callsigns of the developers.

Really,

I noticed HT and Pyro buzzing around but I didn't recognize allot of the other handles. I thought that most were players of the early game.

Oh well, I still want to be a drone.

I'm pretty much a drone in the MA......I wouldn't mind being a drone offline either....

Early on in WB, all drones were developers.

Later, when "scoring tours" got going and that sort of thing, the "prize" for winning the fighter or bomber tour was to get your name pasted on the appropriate drone.

I'm not sure if they still do that or not.

We'll see what HTC has in store for us this time. Maybe it will just be "DRONE".

And well it should be, one had to invest a min. of $200/month to be in the top ten of scoring! I can prove it with my Visa!

What we really need are drones that cuss you out on open buffer after you shoot them down. Then you can practice squelch.

I think they should round up the the total scores from the previous TOD and take the top # players and put there names in the ID's for the offline drones, that way I'll actually get to shoot them down for a change.
