cursor movement in setup and other preflight screens is very choppy and the smallest mouse movement causes large erratic cursor movement making it a very hard and tedious job making correct selections. My OS is XP Pro and the processor is intel PIII550 and 195 MB Ram. any hits or suggestions.

well, i think the p3 550 is a bit anemic for this game. what is your video card, and is it integrated, pci or agp?

Try changing the game resolution from the default of 1024x768 to 800x600 and maybe change the color depth from 32 bit to 16 bit.

If the cursor is too erratic to press the "Video" button at the start of the game, then press the key 4 times, followed by pressing the once.  It will take a few seconds, but you should go to the video setup screen.

XP Pro with 192mb of ram may also be contributing to the problem...
