How carefully was the Bigisles map checked before it was put into rotation? The clipboard map corresponds only loosely to the actual terrain -- there are fields, vehicle hangars, and vehicle spawn points shown as floating in the water off the coast of many of the islands -- and ignoring the fact that the vehicle spawn points don't make sense, there are some interesting screws in the map.
For example, the vehicle spawn from V117 to V112 spawns vehicles on the wrong side of a water barrier to be able to attack V112, which is on an island different from the one that V117 is on. And V112 is, of course, on the far side of a hill from the closest point you can drive to from the V117->V112 spawn point, so you can't even see to shell the field from a distance.
V117 is also hosed in that, when you go to the hangar and select the field gun, when you actually launch, you're put in a manned ack, not at V117, but at an unnamed and unmarked port on the coast southwest of V117, with a hill between you and V117, so you can't even see, much less defend, the field your manned ack is theoretically at.
I'm sure that other people will be able to put up equally inane screws in the map design. I don't know about the other players, but speaking as someone who'd like to actually be able to use the clipboard map as a map, since there probably isn't sufficient time to rework it before AH2 is released, I'd like to suggest that Bigisles be removed from the map rotation until its problems can be fixed.
