All the trips into the pasayten wilderness by horseback , and fishing for the wiley trout in the high mountain lakes...

(part of the north cascades national park in n.central washinton state)

I go every year, its called DEER OR ELK CAMP. My new house in montana backs up to the Selway Bitterrrot wilderness, no privet land or roads for 100+miles until you get into Idaho.

I'm a happy boy, my days of living to work are over, now comes working to live, a much better way of life. I expect my blood pressure will go down 20 points as soon as that U-haul leaves California!

Lake Mohave, NV. Labor Day Weekend. My daughter caught her first fish (look closely, she snagged it with hook through lower lip). Great times!

I love camping; I can often be found on DoD servers lurking around a corner or in a top floor window with a MG42 or BAR.

Hey, SOB, this looks like a great spot. I'm considering a trip down to Oregon this summer. , any fish in that lake? Is there a boat ramp nearby?

When I was your age, I'd just pack up (in a back pack) a lightweight sleeping bag (Down-feathered) and a little bunson burner with a mess kit, food, and mandantory alcohol and weed, and hit the trails on week ends. Kinda hard to do that with baggage nowadays (wife, kids)

Although i suspect why you would be confused, my reason is that my gf may have something to say about me leaving for the trip this year cause we will have a very young daughter that may delay some traditions.
