Well ... it's a know fact that we are invaded each summer ...

now if those brit/danes/german/dutch ... can learn to press a little more on the right pedal on the road I'll be home early each day

We are planning to take the boat down to France in the summer of 2005, any good tips on where to go Straffo? Not to far south tho, we where thinking of Le Havre.

If you do 100km more you can BBQ with me

Evreux the place were I live is at about 1 hour drive.

If you are coming with a boat it will be easier to plan a route from port to port following the coast like this :
from North to South :

Fécamps,Etretat ,Le Havre
Honfleur : a pretty nice little town
Deauville-Trouville : less pretty but pretty enough with some Casino (in September there is the "Festival du Film américain"/american film festival)
Cabourg/Houlgate : see Honfleur

Sword,Juno,Gold,Omaha ,Utah beach
Bayeux

Alternatively you can rent a car in the Havre and make the trip by the road.
Or I can drive you in the part not accessibles with a boat.

Lastly Le Havre (like Caen) is not a pretty place the town was completly destroyed during WWII

Thx for the tip Straffo.
2005 is still far away, we had planned to do the trip next summer, but with a baby due in early May we are gonna delay the long trips a bit.

We did Sweeden, Denmark and Shetland this year so we are planning to go further south next time stopping by somewhere in GB on the way. If it wasn't for the kid we where hoping to go all the way to Monaco to see the F1 but that is now posponed indefinatly.

Would sure be nice to hook up if we get there tho
