Example of a great whine
« on: September 21, 2003, 04:56:26 PM »
The quality of AH whines has gone down greatly over the years and I'm very disappointed. So for you slackers that don't know a good whine, this is one.......................... ..

No profanity, caps, or threat to quit.

Foul.  Not even a 1/10.

I miss the really good whines.  Maybe we need a 'best whines of the AH BB' thread.

Labeling other posts as whines in new threads tend to get locked.

I can't stand all the whining.

The most tedious whiners sound like little boys - the sort of crybaby who has had to walk home from school with a türd in his pants for his mommy to empty out.

Just be sure I'm around for any "outpouring" of '47 Petrus. Or, if you're out of the Petrus, the '47 Cheval Blanc would do just fine. We could discuss the fine points of French pastry over a glass or two.

LOL BNM!  I thought I was on your ignore list... Have you had second thoughts?

Yes - voice of experience indeed. But I didn't cry, and it was my grandmother that did the emptying out. :lol

Silat - blimey, 1947 Château Petrus? Would I get any change out of $1500 for that bottle?
