So exactly who is the CT for?  The players or the Staff?  Keep in mind I have never bashed a CT staffer for their setup and have often offered appreciation for their efforts.

But the statement above really perterbs me and if this is the stance the CT staff chooses to take in part or whole.  May I suggest to whomever is in charge to take a little time to revaluate exactly what they are trying to accomplish in the CT.

While I think it is quiet clear to everyone, including Comrad Fork that this is simply not going to hapen, I would of thought it equily clear that this simply is an expreshion of the frustration shared by the Staff at times.

I personaly feal feadback from the comunity is important and is often given more consideration than is realised by the comunity. Howeaver at times it can become a bit of a pain, the trick is not minding that it is pain:)

I was quite aware of the obvious.  I was more concerned with the mindset of the CT staff.  Frustration or not statements like that can't be good for the cause.

How does one go about being a CT staffer?  Sounds like you need a couple people with slightly lower estrogen levels.

Bug,

That was the stupidist comment I've heard yet. No one worked harder than Jester to make fair and fun scenarios. Have some respect and some class.

Jester , sorry to see you resign bud but I can certainly understand why.  The CT is not what it used to be, at least not to me.  Anyway, good luck with Udet and all.  Bear, , see ya around bud.

Well Jester thanks for donating your time for the CT. And to all of you thanks. Lets make this particular thread what it should be, which is a grand salute to Jester for his time and effort.

Well the current set-up as pointed out in other threads is fine as far as planeset goes but map choice was the main issue.  I did not see any major complaints in the thread to warrant someone quitting.

As for comments online ... why do these idiots get to mouth off at will to EVERYONE (not just the CT staff)?  I have logged time and time again because people like SHANE (naming names here because i'm sick of his mouth) are spewing filth over the entire arena.

I mute him but jeez don't you CT staff have the ability to mute and eject tards like that?  Perhaps it's time you start doing it for the benifit of the rest of us.

Jester a sincere !   ... as a CM trust me I know how it feels to be in the middle of a ****estorm of complaints.  At the end of the day you can look at your work and can be proud of it.  There are always going to be people who want it this way or that.  Think of them as the 1% that will never be happy.  That doesn'y make them whiners ... more like perfectionists.  That map Big Week has caused so much grief I wish it would go away .... anyone remember the bigweek whinefest???

Sorry to see this happen.  I thought the setup idea was a good one and I can't imagine how anybody could justify being abusive over something like this.

When I was a CT CM and ran a similiar set up on this map it was populated and from what I heard was fun.

I did it a bit different and ran it late 43. I also put specific planes at specific bases. On the fighters like the p38 and p47s I killed all the ammo hangers and forced umm to fly light. Only the bombers (b17, b26 and lanc) had ord. There was no base capture. Field objects were made very hard so no base porking by hvy fighters (cause there werent none) and no low level suicide bomber porking the fields. I increased base flash range to max and reduced radar just enough to create gaps where the bombers could fly through.

The 1 base in italy was allied as well.

I adjusted the fuel mod so that escorts needed dts to get the bombers all they to target.

It was focussed on bombing escort and interception rather then main type play.

However from the western most field in france to england there was solid furballing. It was a good time.

Most of the new ct types are mostly main ex-pats who just use the less populated ct to perfect their milkrunning. The rest have gotten to addicted to the instant action of the recent setups. Aint nothing wrong with any of that.

But if you dont like the set up come back in a week. I dont see why folks feel necessary to jump all over the ct cm. The ct isnt run by committee. The CT CMs volunteeer their time and effort to develop a set up. They run their setups. If you dont like umm then its only a week.

Maybe Jester just needed to borrow Bradys flak suit :)

Looks like there room for a CT CM, which one of ya loud mouths are going to volunteer?

Thanks for your efforts, Jester <>.

Sorry this had to happen to you.  I don't blame you for walking away from all the grief.  Just don't take it too personally.  For every person that whines there are 3 or 4 people that trully appreciate the hard work of the CM's.
