As far as the "Press screw up another one".  .50-cal vs 50-mm.  That's pretty damn brutal.  You should write the editor and let him know how wrong they were.  I'd suggest not mispelling a single word in that letter... cause they won't be able to stop laughing if you do.

Not wanting to jump into the flame fest, but I do not know of any 50 cal machine guns on army Helicopters.  I read the same article this morning and caught the mistake.  I believe thay were speaking of the 30mm on the AH-64.  They should proof better.
