Pic not working.

Well , this is the best soap opera I ever have followed :D

Continue to the bitter end, you got only your reputation (in her eyes ) to lose , and so much to win.. You live only once you know?

Wait until you get your licence though. That way you got perfectly good reason to offer her a drink or two  or three.... you know where this leads.. ;)

Ya I did that after my first solo flight and she brought her boyfriend with:mad:  That was awhile ago though. Havnt been out with her since weve had this tension going on between us. We both know something is cooking in each others heads.

you forgot the other option, she goes for it, they date, they break-up before he gets his license, she turns vindictive(she is a woman after all), she torpedo's his training, badmouths him to other instructors, and screws up his license.

She is only an Instructor, and I kinda suspect the FBO or Flight School she teaches from is not the only one in the area.  Geez, dont be so paranoid or such a wuss.  The man has to have some nads and not run around being afraid of every little thing.

It dont work with her, there are only a million other flight instructors out there.

If it works out, great.  If they dont last, he will have some fond memories anyway, he will have lived a little more life, and learned another lesson while moving along the road.

GO FOR IT DAMMIT, chicks dig hearing guys are interested.

actually there aren't even a million pilots out there.  Its between 600,000-700,000 in the US, pilots with (only) commercial ratings number less than 150,000 and there are also under 150,000 ATPs (in addition to commercial pilot certificates)

something along the lines of a whopping 350 recreational pilots.

Losing an instructor is no big deal, from day 1 to checkride day ive got endorsements from 11 different instructors.  Yep, 11.

Hal, Krzys, Adam, Gerry, Mike, Whitlow, Samir, Christina, Charlene, Al, and Chad signed me off for my checkride.

Hal 'got promoted' after only 3 student solos.
Krzys took a job flying Commanders, only to have one run out of fuel when the line guys didnt fill one of the tanks and lived through a forced landing in IMC with ceilings less than 500 feet at night.
Gerry is a new guy from riddle.
Mike's an old guy from the airforce who owed me a free 90-day reup since I sold his car for him.
Whitlow is an older friend who signed me off to another local airport for the purpose of refueling flights for the FBO.
Samir is a buddy from high school signing me off for an X/C.
Christina (chris) signed me off to solo in 152s in Mansfield.
Charlene checked me out in another FBO's 152 in Lancaster.
Al was a knucklehead who didnt know the FARs from a lunch menu but signed me off on my first solo X/C...incorrectly.
Chad is one of the funniest guys i know...first rate CFI.

The day before my checkride i suggested to chad that we sing all of our radio calls, he disagreed so Gomer Pyle called tower and was issued clearance to land from the controller/friend of mine.  Unfortunately he is not a Double-I so now Gerry is my Instrument Instructor...which I am nearly complete :)

So you see...changing instructors is no big deal.  Passed my checkride with 50 hours (flew a lot when i didnt need to) and nearly 30 of them were with Hal.  Lots of bouncing around after that.  Good luck with the checkride, mine was a breeze.  less than an hour oral exam (thats verbal for you gutterminds) and .9 flight time rounded up to 1.4  by the examiner.

By the way...Mia, you have much to learn grasshopper about the power of the pu**y.  It is much more powerful than you think, and you must give it more respect.  Only when you meet 'the one' will you give into the true power of the pu**y and fall in love.  until then, may you find many safe boxes to store your cylinder.

Matane.

MIA,
Regardless of how it turns out try to remember something...

Love, true love, comes from a deep friendship with another human being. If you would like to be her best friend and she would like to be yours you two are off to a great start. The simple fact that you both enjoy a common interest, flying, is a good thing.

If it's just lust you feel that is ok too but it won't suffice for the kind of lasting relationship that you seem to be seeking. Remember that in years to come, as passion subsides, and it will to varying degrees, you need something more concrete to hold your relationship together than just sex.

Good luck and I hope all turns out as you would like it to. If it doesn't, never fear, it will one day.

damn.

I came in this a.m. and started reading this topic with my morning coffee. Hoping to hear of a semi climactic and over melodramatic face-to-face showdow. Or to at least witness to the derailing and subsequent destruction of a young man's self esteem.

But as soon as I got to page three of this topic all I heard was the stall buzzer blaring (although that pic is hilarious!).

This is beginning to turn into a web board version of "Gigli"  :(

I think Mia got pissed off with the alterations cause he erased his post with the pics AND the large version of the pic on his webpage. The small one is still there on his page lol :)
Can't really tell but she looks a lot like the girl I grided with last Friday at 600N (a club in Daytona). That's the original, not the 'improved' pic.
Mia, please post the large pic again, I think we might be on to something here...

Oh jeekus, I just found 'the email'.

Quote
Hi *****, something has really been on mind and I need to get rid of it. I almost told you tonight but I didnt have the balls to say it. Im sure you could tell I wanted to say something but I couldnt. First of all I would like to say I really, really like you as an instructor and I dont want to do or say anything that would make me lose you as an instructor. I think thats my biggest fear and thats why I havnt said anything. Anyway just confront me tomorrow about this email and Ill fill you in. Im just not sure if telling you is the right thing to do, but it will make me feel better, I think, and hope.

Tell her you have a drinking problem.  Your situation is analogous to a B-17 spinning in from 30,000 feet with its entire crew trapped inside from centrifugal force.  Somehow you have to climb to an escape hatch and bail out without being smashed by the tail or propellors.
