NFL: Offensive Coordinators
« on: October 01, 2003, 11:44:29 AM »
How many good offensive coordinators are there in the league this year?  I'm wondering because I just haven't seen anything all too inspiring yet.  I almost wonder if these guys operate off an "offensive coordinators are us" web site with scripted plays all layed out for them.

So far this year, every game I've seen has had at least 5 reverses ran.  Every game but one has had at least one fake feild goal - half of the games had multiple attempts.  Every team still tries to run screen plays endlessly despite the fact that 90% of the defenses out there are prepared for them.

Dunno... just seems theres a trendy trick play mentality running around right now and it seems to be hitting almost everybody.
