I agree Strange, some of your boys did a great job.  I was one of Nomde's unfortunate victims.  I had a few kills, and the Lancaster formations I had encountered previously did zero dammage to my 109.  I spotted Nomde in a full formation, and Reddog's last remaining Lancaster flying very close together (very smart by the way).  My wingman JrcCrow had just made a pass on this same group and took critical damage, but was able to maintain flight and headed home.  I went in to finish the job, and just as I opened up fire, Bam, my left wing was gone.  I exploded a few seconds later as I radioed my condition to the squad.  I thought, dang, that guy is a good shot.  He put an end to our flight that had seen quite a few formations that night and been entirely untouched.    Was it the clouds that illuminated our airplane for you?

Tracer,

Yeah the clouds help/hindered our escape. We could see you coming after we past over V35 & 34 to drop on our targets.. I spoted a 109 passing though my bomb sight of all things lol.

Dumped the rest of our egg's on A-4 and attempted to run back up into the clouds.

Flying a LANC at night in TOD surely made the "pucker" factor go up!!

:rofl
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
