Air-
Kbman is right about my intent- if you read the 250-some-odd long thread on this BBS you can see this has been hashed over-and-over. The viewpoints to me seem to be those that are patient and want what is best for everyone, and those that don't care what the intent of the survey was/is, they want their discount now.
Interesting, too. Many of the people demanding "respect" were beta players, meaning they played on HTC's dime. Now, when the intent is to lower the price for all customers if feasible, they are concerned about the money they are paying
only because they know someone is paying less!I'm sorry if I was harsh, but this topic is growing way thin. Some people are big picture people, some are not. The first post I ever saw from you starts out with a slam on HTC for not giving everyone the discount. Honestly makes me shake my head. Even after you read the big thread, you came back here to continue the thought.
I am not against diverse opinions, really. I do have my own, however, and when I disagree with someone's opinion I will say so. I apologize if I offended you; Kbman is right, I never attempt to personally attack anyone. I did think you came across harsh in your post towards HTC, and it was that I was reacting to.
I do not work for HTC, per se. I have been a trainer, I am a CM, and do volunteer work on the Events and Calendar sites. I am involved you can say, and for that reason I guess I do take HTC's side on most issues. And before you ask, yes, I pay my $30 just like you do (as far as I know anyway; the wife pays the bills.

).
This issue isn't about whether I want to pay $30 a month. It is about what will make HTC succeed. Your $15 a month subscription won't do you any good if HTC goes out of business. The reasoning has been explained ad infinitum so I won't go through it again. The intent is to discover what is the best price for everyone, and that is the most important thing to remember.
I hope you and the others who are upset stick around, but of course that is your decision(s) to make.
