The end is near for the Italian King, who falls victim to his new "ally", France. Since only a miracle could save Italy now,  expect the announcement of Italian abdication in the fall.

The juggernaught alliance of Russia/Turkey decided to clean up their backyard by eliminating the Austrian threat in the south. By removing the Austrian army in Serbia, they have eliminated a very dangerous situation, and this should free up more units to help defend against the Franco-German steamroller that's gaining momentum in the north and west.

In the north, the Kaiser has placed himself in a position to deal with the valiant Russian fleet in St. Petersburg. Barring something unusual happening, the Russian fleet's days are numbered.

In the south, the battle for control of the Ionian Sea should continue, unless one side gains a quick advantage.
