only idiots give a flying F* about what the graphics look like

if AH2 is going to be as good as it sounds like id be happy with WB2 graphics...

IL2 fb has decent graphics...but it isnt a downloadable MMOG that has to handle HUGE maps and 400+ players at any  one time

That may be true, but keep in mind the point made by others in this thread--AH being a MMP game has to model a hell of a lot more objects than an Xbox game, and furthermore has to share a large percentage of these objects over network connections.  So each object will be less detailed in AH than an equivalent object in a single-player game.  Given the limitations imposed by current computer hardware and network speeds, what I see in these screenshots looks pretty nice.

X-Box also runs off cd's 600mb+

No one seems to mention your getting quite a bit of game for a mere 30 to 40mb download.

imagane what this game would be if it were say 100mb+ or 200mb+ download,  like some of the demos I have seen online.

and those are just demo's.

personally I can't comprehend how HT puts so much game into such a little file.

I had visions of T34s or M4s but alas....
============================

Im inspired by the music of Rush:

The Trees

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

The trouble with the maples
(and they’re quite convinced they’re right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks can’t help their feelings
If they like the way they’re made
And they wonder why the maples
Can’t be happy in their shade?

There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream `oppression!`
And the oaks, just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
’the oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light’
Now there’s no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet,
Axe,
And saw ...
