The problem is with determining which tribe of Indians held the rights, since they were killing each other and stealing the others land as fast as they could before the white men got here. To me, that makes it open season, and none of them have ay more right than we did to it. We were just a whole lot better at it than they were.

According to their culture and customs, children were property of the parents. So there was no kidnapping as such. In fact when such slaves succeeded in life and received their freedom and wealth, as it often happened, they often aquired their own slaves.

Also, the concept of a serf is not exactly the same as that of a slave and you may be a bit confused about that. The status of the chinese slaves sold by parents more resembled that of serfs or indentured servants rater than slaves.
And of course they usually sold the children as a alternative to commiting infanticide due to the lack of resources.

That was a convenient lie to propagate to justify mudrer and theft.
Did you know that white people bought the island of Manhattan for $24 from Canarsie indians that lived nowhere near to Manhattan.

Shoulda put the whole quote in --Like I said people choose to call it many things----property denotes the concept of ownership=slavery............And I'm not confused about anything involving serfs(of course they had the right to go starve somewhere else) or indentured servents----they had the rights of a slave -----A great many of slaves were treated very well and freed by their "masters" long before the civil war...and you need to reread your own reply again and again and again......

I did not say an intire race.

I said the American black.

There is a differnce you know.
I have met alot of people from Africa and I found them to be polite and educated .
And they certinly don't think the world ows them anything.

Just in America Do the bleeding hearts keep this very wound (slavery) open and refuse to let it heal.
Don't you people understand untill this "wound" heals there will never be racial harmony!!

Move on into the future and never forget the past but accept it as the past and let every body heal
