Go to Squads on the clipboard, make your own squad with a "squaddie" (shade account). Call it.... 800Nate n' More
It'll catch on, trust me... :noid
Just get on some players' good side and get them to add you to their squad. 2+2=4

SSHHHH!!! I be SPYIN'! Jokes aside, 800Nate, come wing up with us for a day. We fly any country that offers a good fight for us. Limiting yourself to one chess piece means that you don't get to know the community as a whole. Overall, the AH community is one of the best online gaming communities on the internet.

We will call it the SLA

I know why I don't like typical squeakers. Most refuse to learn, have a shallow knowledge of proper English, and rely heavily on emoticons to convey emotions. There are, of course, those who were not cast from this mould. You, however, seem to be part of the former.

A good squeaker watches silently, learning from the community and observing the intricacies of their interactions, before he begins to force others to be exposed to him for long periods of time. My advice to you: watch and learn how things work around here. Which behaviours are considered positive, and which are generally undesireable. For example, a strong understanding of ACM and BFM would make you more appealing to a squad, where as constant play-by-plays of two hour bombing runs would not.

For those of you who have not noticed, I am not quite 15 yet, yet I feel that I seem much less a squeaker than any others I have come across, excluding perhaps 2. I'm unsure what the SLA is supposed to accomplish, and how it intends to accomplish this. It seems like one would mostly receive ridicule for being a part of such an organization.

Baron,

first let me start with this....  :salute from the thought that is put into many of your posts and the supporting intelligence to many of your arguments i would have guessed you to be at least 10 years older than you are. so again  :salute your a credit to your age group.

now on to your question, what is putting SLA in your sig line suppose to accomplish? well let me tell you what it accomplishes.....

IT ACCOMPLISHES SETTING YOUR STATUS AS A PERSON WHO IS PROUD OF WHO THEY ARE AND ARE NOT AFRAID OF BEING RIDICULED BY THOSE WHO ARE NOT!!!!!!!!!! you have youth, that is an advantage that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the "adults" on this BBS are either envious of, or they are lying.

The SLA is just an expression, (like S.A.P.P. or D.F.C. etc) it has no weight other than what you as a person who would wear it gives to it. If you wear it as a badge of pride and even when others attempt to use it as a slander against you, you don't take insult but instead you raise your head higher and stand defiant of their opinions. then it will forever become a point of strength for you, despite of what others think.

it will also aid in forming bond(s) with others of similar status. friendship has it's benefits.

keep this in mind.......this advice comes from a guy who is very proud to place "Muppet" in his sig line!!

I think Nate would be a great part of any squad. You just need to get rid of the play by plays and his odd orders.

Also when he is on a vox and people are talking, he will randomly say "Clear Vox Please". Then the message he gives the vox would be "I am on final for landing can someone watch my back" or "I just got a new joystick, and it is awesome"

Now i myself have flown with nate and I myself would fly with him again, he is a very good stick, better then me, and hes younger then me by i think 2 or 3 years! I have been playing for gosh 3 or 4 years now and as many of you remember i was a terrible squeeker, but, I learned i controlled myself, something nate IS learning to do, it just takes time and patience from more then just him, but all of us here, we are a community and no matter what a brother ( or sister ) flys, whether they are a bishop or a knight or a rook it doesnt matter, in the end we all have the same goal, kill the red guys. ( which does mean each other ) so what nate needs is a squad willing to accept him and deal with him for a while, every time he gets acclimated to a squad he gets kicked. He just needs to find his niche. And excuse me for the spelling, grammar and punctuational errors, im typing from my phone here.
