half you noobs will filp 200 yard from spawn in anyway. The reason? You view the local fauna as a threat so you attempt to fight back against the evil bananna tree with your best tactic the Horde-Ho. Granted a few of you will live to be strafed as some of you Vtard s can actually fly but not many.

We came to the Rooks with no plans of leaving, with the intentions of making new friends and getting a "change of scenery". We struggled with the decision as to whether to move for some time, and even put up a poll on our site that was intended for our members only, but it was inadvertently left open to the public. Our site, and the poll it held was disclosed to the AH community, and an overwhelming number (many more than in our squad) voted that we go Rook.
We got the message, and there we are.

The Horde typically only occurs with posted missions where the whole country is invited. Most Devils Brigade missions are unposted and kept within the squad, or kept between us and other squads with which we have a close alliance. However, if one of our ally squads posts a mission, we're in as there ally. It is not unlikely that you'll find us in a horde, but we're usually (but not always) not the ones leading it.
Tonight, many of the Rooks continued to press the Bishop front despite us already having captured ~38% of their bases. We chose instead to press the Knight front, and the Knights were bringing their A game in defense. We did eventually with the help of some countrymen manage to capture their port and cv, but the Knight horde quickly reclaimed them. Despite being stymied, we had great fun (and maybe a bit of cartoon frustration/rage) trying break the impasse. At best we have fought them to a draw this evening...
But tomorrow is another day :D
<S> Knights, thanks for a great evening (you bat rastages you) :bhead

I suspect that the vGuys are frequently blamed for the hordes created by Chewie and the Alchemists.

the green jealous monsters are finally poking their heads :rofl :rofl... haven't heard a thread about the vtards after such a long time till today...
they came over one day and said they staying... its their $14.95... tho i rather them go back.. the thought of having dallas over still makes me wanna take dump...But most of the vtards have been performing their duties with an utmost dedication... and the thing that i kinda like about them.. is that when they came over... they came over humbly and didn't try to assume authourity unlike some side switchers...they followed the saying... when in rome.. do as the romans do...they didn't try to change the rooks... instead they helped us the ROOK way....it is truly a welcome help..
all the talk about ankle humping??? sigh... i have never seen more people in the bish or knits humping bruv's ankle or The AOM... :neener: then us accepting the vtards into rookland...
-
whatever happened to midway? has he been recruited by al shabaab?

I suspect that the vGuys are frequently blamed for the hordes created by Chewie and the Alchemists.
You seem to miss a key point: Chewie's missions, have, for the last handful of months been supported and/or driven by vGuys. Not saying Chewie missions don't get their share simply because of the other factors, but when the vGuys were on Bish and a Chewie mission went up, you sure as bet an overwhelming majority of the vGuys would hook into it. Also (and I may be wrong as I couldn't find the original source) the vGuys and the Alchemists had some sort of 'alliance' (how that works, exactly, on the same country is a little fuzzy to me) to which they would each support the others missions.
When the vGuys were bish, you would always see the mission group as a massive horde, with little thought put forth in terms of tactics aside from numbers win. This isn't a guess either.. I had a public discussion with one of the vGuys over the fact they wouldn't go on their hvy fighter mission with any less than 40 planes. I asked him why they needed that many to hit a small airfield and was informed that it insured they took it. The base was showing no enemy activity at the time. When I probed further, I was told numbers always win and are superior to tactics. I was stunned, 40 men to take a field, a small field at that and that was the minimum they wanted. The conversation degraded at that point on all sides, but the thought processes had been shown. Now, to their credit, the vGuys don't always need 40 to take a base, this was just one of those glaring examples that persisted in my own mind.
There are alot of vGuys I do like, but that is when they are in small groups or solo, just so we are clear. Yet when they mass such as they do, they become like cicadas; you can't wait for them to go away for 17yrs.
Missions are one thing and will always have numbers, that is good. Numbers work sometimes and are a valid tactic to an extent, but I believe you will see better tactics from the remaining mission commanders.
-
Thought it was interesting to see all those vGuys auger instead of fighting when their NOE caught caught last night. Not sure why you wouldn't fight it out regardless. There were lots of splashes of undamaged planes going into the drink below us.

well when i find their missions and 1/2 the guys's names begins with "v" then I suspect it is the vtards.

orders from vdallas, they are to avoid combat and dive bomb to kill the hangars/town, only after all the buildings/hangars are down then they will fight. that's why if you get behind them at the beginning, you can kill 3 or 4 while they go around you. it's ridiculous, but that's how several vguys justified their lack of willing to fight.

Orders not to fight?
Hey, vTards....you will have a lot more fun if you go elsewhere. Lot more to the game than killing hangers so vDallas can get the kills of what's left, beat up, and barely flying in the air. Try NOT killing the hangers but tell Dallas you did, lol, wonder how many he'll land on that little mishun

Hmm. They had two goons out front and landed. They were spotted on the ground. Folks then upped in the direction that the raid was more then likely coming from. The lead guys spotted them low. The raid then reversed and augered. The goons upped and augered too. Really kinda sad.

Sad is a select few will remain high and use their squaddies to rope kills, sometimes it works but usually there squaddie goes down in flames while they remain perched high above watchiing them die. the battle slows down they fly off.

I just want to say, I love the vTards. :D
Their Missions are loads of fun to intercept, and its nice to see new maps every 2-3 days. Im glad to see a vTard mission when they are no other fights, gives me something to shoot at.

If no one else will, I'll call you on that. Either you are exaggerating the number or said 'vguy' wasn't being accurate because I have NEVER heard of us scrubbing a mission because we didn't have the same number of planes as hangers to hit... As for your point on Chewies missions, it was routine that we put planes in Alchemists missions to help them take that base and they just as frequently reciprocated. We did have a very successful 'alliance' with them where we gave assistance when needed in whatever way needed. I liked flying with them very much. Great group of 'ready and willing' nice guys.
As for your intent on believing we have no tactics, well your just ignorant to that. If that were the case we wouldn't have a numbered map for each field, assign targets, assign backups, request specific ordinance saved for specific things, and we would never deack fields to hold cap. Oh and we would certainly never pork strategically. We would never take a port prior to sinking the CV. We would never EVER go drop a VH to a base that spawns into the target take to avoid unwanted enemy GV's. To save time I'll just stop there. All this is to say that we aren't a noobish as everyone likes to think we are. Hating on us just because you aren't well informed isn't productive.

I haven't been on in awhile but if vTards are rook I'm gonna have to go nit. I really do like intercepting their mishuns and the easy kills :devil

Why the mass auger when intercepted last night?

A stretegic auger to strategically NOE another base 7-10 sectors away.

Leaked information that was posted on the BBS. It lasted only a few hours before rightfully Skuzzed. It was from self titled High Supreme Commander General Dallas or something like that and contained his personal email addy and phone #. It was a knit that exposed him and their plan to leave bishland. In the letter found on the BBS it explained why they were considering a move. Once leaked I believe even their own country got pizzed at them
We came to the Rooks with no plans of leaving, with the intentions of making new friends and getting a "change of scenery".
You left because you thought your homeland BISH comrades sucked and were below you. In a letter posted on the internet from Dallas it names all the BISH squads he thought were has beens and why he wanted to leave them behind to fend for themselves..
We struggled with the decision as to whether to move for some time, and even put up a poll on our site that was intended for our members only, but it was inadvertently left open to the public. Our site, and the poll it held was disclosed to the AH community, and an overwhelming number (many more than in our squad) voted that we go Rook.
It was a Knit Squad that obtained the information and circulated it among them. They (Knits)voted Rook to persuade you from going Knit. Rooks did not say if you have a choice come here and voted for your attendance there. You choose the path of least resistance.
We got the message, and there we are.

Hate us if it makes you feel better about yourself. I don't care.
I can only assume that all of this unwarranted notoriety means we're doing something right. Honestly I think people spend more time trying to fight us here on the bbs with claims of easy kills and no-good hordes than in game somedays.

that letter was originally posted on the pigs website by vtard. who had been a member of the vguys squad several months before and was still on their mailing list. we (pigs) thought the vdallas wanted the ah community to vote on which country they would changed. so we posted it on the ah bb, before skuzzy took it down. knights not being stupid also voted for vtards to go rooks, who says we knights dont agree on anything :D. the vguys squad had switched to knights several times in the prior month and were treated the same way as MJ at a UNICEF concert.

Why not fight it out anyway? Seems silly not to. What did you have to lose when the fight could have been a learning time anyway. if your defense to an intercept is to auger, what's the point?

You need to do a few things before you answer any post, not just mine. Here they are.
1. Read the entirety of the post and reply to it's context as a whole.
Example: I said the example of 40 people was an extreme situation. Typically humans remember the ends of any spectrum better than the middle. I happen to remember the high end of your mission spectrum, like a normal human, we can safely assume thanks to scientific fact, would do. (go look it up, I'm not doing the leg work for you)
2. You should never insert your own words or meanings, especially in a subjective argument as it leads to mistruths and misunderstanding.
Example: I never said it was scrubbed. Infact, I never said WHAT happened to it. The truth of it was they kept pushing the time back waiting for the 40. I don't know if it was scrubbed.
3. If you need a dictionary when reading to ensure you do not violate #1 or 2, it is advised using Google and search under dictionary. This prevents violation of the previous rules.
Example: I said with you guys gone we would see BETTER tactics. Better does not mean none. It means 'greater than' or 'superior to' an existing noun. So when you allegedly I stated a lie about the vGuys, IE; you don't use tactics, it was not I who was truly at fault.
OH one more thing. Let's call it #4. When you object to certain points and yet leave other accusations unopposed, it typically means you agree with it.
Example: I said the mission needed 40 or more to go, it was a small field and unopposed, yet you never said anything to the affect of: We don't do that. You said you wouldn't scrub the mission just because you couldn't get 40, you also said my number might be too high, you even used the point of the 'alliance members' being willing participants... But nowhere, not once did you dispute the thought process of [Numbers=Win] or that vGuys NEED a large number to ensure a take or they won't even try. This coupled with the show of everyone diving into the drink when a con shows up further validates this.
I don't make statements such as I did without some semblance of certainty in my stance because, even if you dislike me or what I say, I'd like still to be look at as a person of honor and integrity.
-
I just had this vision of Patton ordering his troops to shoot themselves because it didn't appear the fight was going to go his way. "Nope! Not going there! They've got defenders. OK everyone commit suicide!"
Nah....
A goon isn't obligated to give a proxy to, or take bullets from you.
The Bottom line is that everyone gets to decide for their self how to play the game. If you don't like it, tough toejam. I'm still going to do my part to take your fields.

You keep talking about the goons. I wasn't anywhere near the goons. It was the rest of the raid, coming in low over the water. They had the means to fight back but augered instead. The might have shot me down had they fought for the fun of it instead of doing the splash dance instead.
-
The lack of a direct answer speaks volumes.
It was a very simple question.
Blah Blah Blah. The portion of this community, which you belong to, that don't like us because we pay our $15 to play this game how we want while CONSTANTLY critiquing what we do speaks far greater. We don't owe you a single explanation for anything we do. You aren't our dad, God, or HiTech. Your question was inflammatory and meant to point out what you believe is one of our inadequacies. You want us to validate for you why you think we are inferior to us and in a public forum the only reason for doing so is with the hopes that you will smear our squad further. Well get in line. There's plenty of other AH bullies you can make smores with around a campfire while telling your stories about us.
My 'indirect' answer is exactly what you deserve. You want to be a jerk to us and then expect us to answer your post to your specifications. How do you deal with a bully?
You need to do a few things before you answer any post, not just mine. Here they are.
I don't make statements such as I did without some semblance of certainty in my stance because, even if you dislike me or what I say, I'd like still to be look at as a person of honor and integrity.
Your example 1 shows almost exactly my point. If you want to be an elitist and try to insert 'scientific fact' to this conversation go ahead. It's a forum for a WW2 simulation. Not "can we create a cure for hand warts." The 'fact' is you took a spectrum of numbers, which you admit the high end is 40, and used the exact high end. That would be a no-no in the 'scientific community' as it does not hold true representation to mean value of the spectrum. I'm willing to do that leg work for you, basically what I just said is that if you wanted to be most accurate, which so you're aware the scientific community takes accuracy pretty serious, you should have referenced the average number (or mean value) of planes we require to launch a mission. Instead, like Al Gore takes only the extremes in his argument, you chose to reference the extreme number in an attempt to further smear our squad. So your personal feelings have affected your argument. Another no-no in the 'scientific community'. You silly Man-Bear-Pig you.
Example 2 is also flawed as your exact words I referenced was, "they wouldn't go on their hvy fighter mission with any less than 40 planes." I guess you should have been more specific and said, "they wouldn't go on their hvy fighter mission until they had 40 planes in the mission." Those have different meanings and when YOU don't convey your message properly typically humans fill in the blanks on their own.
Your example 3 shows your true colors. Keep talking down to me and see what it will get you. Nothing. Cause this is a digital environment and I will never meet you in real life, so I guess if you enjoy acting like you are superior to me in all ways... Have at it. I chuckle at your need for importance. Others will read it and if only for a slight moment think that your being a jerk and that will diminish your integrity in their eyes, which even for a mere second, still harms you and not me. After all, I'm proudly a vGUY. How much more 'marked' can I get. What you said, exactly, was "with little thought put forth in terms of tactics aside from numbers win." I gave you a LIST of things we tactically do ASIDE from numbers. So I guess to correct my post, "As for your intent on believing we have no tactics" should have read, "As for your intent on believing we have little tactics." Either way it was you that claimed we do not think of how to tactically achieve our objective and I cited numerous examples as to why you are ignorantly incorrect. And I use the word ignorant not in the "uneducated or unsophisticated" way, I use it in the "lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular" way, to be clear. (Hope you enjoyed my use of Google Search there)
I completely agree that numbers are a valid tactic, as well as selecting the field that will have lower resistance. The objective after all is to take the base. Not spend 45 minutes dying for a bust. I could spend another paragraph attempting to explain in detail they why's and whatnot but that would do no one on this forum any good, so I digress.
I don't dislike you, as a matter of fact anytime I've ever flown with or around you I feel you are a great asset and always kind. I dislike your persistence to join all these people who hate us cause we play a different style of game than they do. I don't think I've ever seen a single thread from us pounding hate on people who like to furball for hours to gain nothing, spend days at TT, or who are nothing but fighter jocks. Our focus is OUR choice of gameplay. It's really disrespectful to tell someone how to play who isn't by their own choice in your squad. That and talking down to other people is definitely not what a person who values their 'honor and integrity' does.

Defensive much? Good lord...it really was a simple question. You'd be left to believe the real answer was Top-Secret Crypto

I was going to read your post, but I'm going to auger to the other side of the BBS instead.
It's hilarious how I saw the wall of text and did the same thing...
And nobody has answered to why all the other planes augered BEFORE the goons...
-
Hmm. They had two goons out front and landed. They were spotted on the ground. Folks then upped in the direction that the raid was more then likely coming from. The lead guys spotted them low. The raid then reversed and augered. The goons upped and augered too. Really kinda sad.
I was suspecting the NOE because the fact Rooks had over 30% of Bish fields (given the size of the map it can easily be said it was over 20%), I was joking around when I said I was taking bets on which base would be hit NOE by the Vguys, all sudden a Vtard was dropping radars, A24, A25, A22.
I took off figuring A25 and sure enough they had 2 Goons "landing" when I dove on them, both tried to bail and gave me the kill - When I flew out further to where I believed the NOE was - and sure enough thats when I screamed NOE - only to be confused when I seen a few turn around! First Set of 110s I dove on one bailed out and one Augered without even firing a shot.
Not sure what happened with the rest of the NOE, I actually flew over the main body, and was heading to the ones that turned around - thanks to vCryo for bailing out to let me know they were under me.

It was the rest of the raid, coming in low over the water. They had the means to fight back but augered instead. The might have shot me down had they fought for the fun of it instead of doing the splash dance instead.
I've seen that myself; they stay in formation while you're shooting them down. I can't imagine looking over and watching people get towered and doing nothing about it. You know at a glance the few people that are in the mission that aren't in the vSquad, because they'll stay on target until it is silly to attempt to do so and will turn to fight.
This is a good example (daLemming from the old days would be so proud);
-
I shot down 7 of them in juggs while in a 262. All stayed nice and neat didn't even break. None made it to target the 3 or four I didn't get were mopped up miles from the base. I didnt know if I was to feel bad for them or laugh.
I have also heard rumors only the good pilots are permitted to fly german planes.

And you still haven't answered the simple question.
I'll try again. What do you have to lose by fighting under the circumstances. Why auger instead? You put way too much stock in not 'rewarding' us with kills.
In terms of smearing your squad, you don't need my help in that regard. I think you are doing quite well on your own.
-
The answer is simple. Instead of talking amongst the squad about how Corky owned them 10 v 1 they can instead say "PWND!!! He didn't shoot me down, I augered to prevent it".
On a side note...Dan, I was looking in your 38 cockpit. What is the "Jettison unneccessary parts" button for?
-
We came to the Rooks with no plans of leaving, with the intentions of making new friends and getting a "change of scenery".
<S> Rooks
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
You do realize it was alost entirely Knights that voted for you to go Rook, right? Several squads, ours included, conducted squad raids and HORDED your poll, making sure that our overwhelming force would send you Rook.... cause, well..... we sure didn't want you guys knit!!!
-
Thought it was interesting to see all those vGuys auger instead of fighting when their NOE caught caught last night. Not sure why you wouldn't fight it out regardless. There were lots of splashes of undamaged planes going into the drink below us.
LOL I don't care much about the things people argue are lame or uncool on the bbs: Hoing, basetaking, hording, furballer vs war, Spit16, etc. While I don't personally play the war side of the MAs, I'm glad others do and can understand why they enjoy it. But augering because someone saw your mission? That's the lamest thing I've ever seen in this game.
People often say something like, "Why don't you go take bases offline?" when trying to degrade NOEers. I think they're being mostly sarcastic and know clearly why people wouldn't want to base take offline. But if it's gotten to the point where entire missions auger because a baddie laid eyes on them... why don't you go take bases offline?
-
If you take enough bases in the Offline Training, do you win the WAR?? :rofl

No but it can be played by the testicularly challenged or by those who sacrifice their definition of fun by following orders blindly

That's fine with us, after a 7-0 run on the wars with the Knights and Bishops though, your deceptive tactics seem to be betraying you. And for what it's worth, most Rooks seem to be delighted with your deception. You keep losing your game your way, and we'll keep winning our game our way.

whatever it takes to "win" right, 7 and 0 record do you get a bigger cookie now.

I just want to say, I love the vTards. :D
Their Missions are loads of fun to intercept, and its nice to see new maps every 2-3 days. Im glad to see a vTard mission when they are no other fights, gives me something to shoot at.
:aok Keep gunning for us, it makes it fun.
-
And you still haven't answered the simple question.
Here's the answer (although I'm sure you already know).
They pay their $15 to play the game however they chose. They don't pay $15 to run into vicious brutes like you.
Vicious brutes like you make them feel small, and thus they don't believe they got their $ worth.
It will not do for members of a mega-skwad to feel small.
I don't understand why everyone feels the need to attack the vDudes. It was the same when I started, everybody was on the CJ's.
Just let them suckle the teat of mediocrity.
Are CJ's still Rook? Holy smokes, they should just form up and be the ClaimTards.
EDIT: No wait, how about "TardHumpers"?
:salute UnclKurt and the CJ's :)

how exactly do you win? been here for 5 years, war hasnt been won yet. we still keep playing every day. but if you are to listen and pay attention to those that quit or got kicked out of your squad, you would realize that your best players arent happy. that in itself would make most squads think about what they do wrong, with you guys, you just get the unlimitted supply of new guys on their 2 week trial.

And you still haven't answered the simple question.
Or perhaps you are too simple to see that the question has been answered -- more than once, in fact.
You just don't like the answer, so you continue to troll your "question", which isn't really a question at all, but a commentary (many would say "whine") on people not playing the game to your liking.
Get over it. Some people pay their $14.95 a month to make NOE raids and then abort them when necessary. Some people pay their $14.95 a month to bounce NOE missions for easy pickings. Some people pay their $29.90 a month to make that even easier for themselves and others. AH is what it is.

LOL I''m the king of the auger. I do it all the time. Halfway to a fight that all of a sudden dries up. I auger. On the way home with a broken bird and a fight that dried up. I auger.
What confused me is the fight had appeared right in front of them and they augered. It confused me. We've got vNucks just upthread a bit talking about being 7-0 against Bish and Knits in winning the 'war'. That would imply he's competitive. I'm not sure how one can claim victory when they auger at the first sign of the other team :)

That's a good one. :aok

I doubt that you are confused. You understand that the mission was scrubbed on account of the goons being spied out. Rather than drop ords and RTB a grid and a half away, they bailed to reset another mission. Much like you admitted above that you bail when your sortie isn't to your liking.
What's really going on is you decided to try to get your revenge by trolling in here because you were denied the opportunity to bounce a bunch of low, slow, outnumbered, fuel-laden, ords-carrying aircraft.
Now I'm confused. Is that really the kind of fight you look for? Are you so disappointed that you didn't get that "fight" it that you need to whine about it in the forum?

You are aware Dan flies a low, slow BOMBER don't you. So you are agreeing that rather than fight a single P-38G with no WEP and a less than mediocre pilot that all of you augered. If only 2 of you dropped ords and engaged Dan probably would have wrecked on his own. Your above statement validates the accusation that you avoid fights at all cost. I'm sure those town buildings feel owned............ :lol

Bill Clinton comes to mind after reading this. "I did not have sex with that woman".

LOL. Swing and a miss, slugger.
First of all, you are aware that a P-38 is a fighter not a "BOMBER" aren't you? That said, I doubt he was heavy given there were no targets in that sector. Are you really saying Dan is a "less than mediocre pilot"? Perhaps if they had known this, and if he was actually alone, the raid might have continued.
The actual fact is, Butcher found and reported the goons and the NOE raid. He has stated this already here on the forum. The large, growing dar-bar at the target field made that fairly obvious. One pilot? Not even close to the case.
Your ignorance to the actual facts suggests that you weren't involved in the event on either side. Your statement validates the fact that one shouldn't talk about things they have no clue about.

Really Semp? HTC sends us a little message, apparently you've never received it. Kinda like chess, you can win today and still play tomorrow. And as for what goes on within the squad, you haven't a clue what you're talking about! I suppose in your pathetic little mind that if you think it, it must be true... but alas it's just your fantasy, and I suppose in a fantasy game that's okay. And only 5 years huh grasshopper? I've been doing this since Al Gore invented the internet, and I've met quite a few morally superior/emotionally inferior basement trolls of your like in that time.
So if you wanna hate us that's up to you, but you would do yourself a favor to actually know us before you start to invent reasons in your quest to convince others to do so as well. So "if you are to listen and pay attention":
You can't win a friend worth having by trying to spread hate.
You can't earn respect by treating others disrespectfully.
And most importantly, you can't find the truth amongst the "facts" you've invented.

augering when no fight can be found vs augering when the fight found you would be two totally different things :)
Are you suggesting the fighter bombers you were flying were incapable of ditching their ord and fighting? That was SOP when jumped for WW2 fighter bombers. I don't recall ever seeing note that all fighter bombers augered when jumped. With no real death on the horizon, why not fight it out. It's not like there were more of us then you, in fact it was less of us until you started making splashes.
It's your dime in the end. It was just something I've never encountered before in 15 years of cartoon flying.
BTW you'll find that the best place to be in AH is low and slow. Some of us spend most of our time down there :)
-
Are you really saying Dan is a "less than mediocre pilot"? Perhaps if they had known this, and if he was actually alone, the raid might have continued.
Much like experiencing sex for the first time, you won't know or experience anything unless you attempt to get involved.
First of all, you are aware that a P-38 is a fighter not a "BOMBER" aren't you?
I was going to be sarcastic, but FYI the ongoing joke in AH is the P38 is a bomber.

Kingpin, <S>.

Are you suggesting the fighter bombers you were flying were incapable of ditching their ord and fighting?
No, I actually understand your side of the argument. Had I been in that mission (rather than having just come in on vox) I would have voted to drop ords and try to make my way out. They elected (after some discussion on vox) NOT to play into your hands, and instead bailed to rally a potentially successful attack.
I'm not actually debating the tactics side of this at all.
What I AM suggesting is that either:
1) you can't see it from the side of the "mission oriented" group resetting after a spied out mission
2) you are pretending not to understand in order to continue to troll the subject
At this point I am leaning toward the latter, as I find it hard to believe you’ve never seen people bail before.
I’ve only been playing AH for about a year, and I’ve seen players on the Rook and Knight side bail out repeatedly to avoid being attacked. Then again, maybe I have a better perspective from over 1000ft AGL. ;)

I''ve seen individuals bail before and I think it's silly. I've never seen a mission with larger numbers then the defenders all auger. There were three of us close at the time the splashes started. There were folks further back on the way. Were we higher? Sure, you were NOE but we weren't that much higher. I could care less about points, perks etc. As folks who fly with me will tell you, I'd have said "banzai" on VOX and plowed into the fight to see how long I could last. Chances are I'd have been in the tower as fast as you guys augered, but it would have been because of the fight, not avoiding it. Time wise it would have had little impact on the 'war', but competitive wise it could have been a great fight.
-
Honestly to me having fun and fighting other players in the game is whats Fun for me, it's not the Kills, the Score, the Rank, or Winning of the War, to some it does mean alot and i understand this. But I'm along the same mindset as Dan and other players. i still do so many stupid things, auger, removal of wings at high speeds, missing targets, diving into stupid odds to see how long I'll last. the reason why is I'm having Fun and laughing to hard to see what i should be doing ( pig radio is total ADHD lol ), but i also know everytime i engage anyone in anything at anytime I'm going to try and make sure You have fun to, if i die.... Meh I'll grab another one and hope you had Fun.
last night we made a private room to take a break from the MA scene, started off everyone dueling in B25's with just the 75mm cannon, Then the ADHD kicked in soon it was i16's vrs 262's vrs DB3 vrs Ju87's lol at one point i was turn fighting my B29 with a 262 less than 1000 ft off the deck full flaps doing vertical stall turns lol

What? That isn't promoting team play! The war must be won and we can't win when our resources are in a private room, doing nothing but wasting time.
/sarcasm

I agree zoom, just getting regular quality fights with some friends is 100% better than some of the MA stuff, just ask anyone who's taken me up on a WWI challenge.

What I'm seeing is a group of players who once their one and only tactical advantage was blown ( being spotted) decided to auger. Could it be that their lack of skill called for an auger instead of fighting it out and maybe pushing thru and fighting for the base?
You clowns complain about how your treated and then you just add fuel to the fire being doing things like this.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I can't resist. Just ignore these clowns. They've had their 15 minutes, just wait for them to fade away. Remember how another group was going to revolutionize gameplay by not fighting? Same deal. Dweebs > Lemmings. Just let it go.

Seems that over the years there is at least one squad that is the butt of AH threads (jokes too). Hubs right. This too shall pass. :D
-
Your example 1 shows almost exactly my point.
I stated it was an extreme example because it was the best I could remember, again you are violating the rules of reply posting. Next time, I shall phrase it like so: They had a mission, which, being one of the vGuys missions, it should have fell within certain means such as the average of ## pilots per mission because, I can't use the number of this event which was 40 as it is not all encompassing and gives a bad image to the vGuys, which we assume because of the reply.
Science is about facts and theoretical facts and the fact is not all situations have the exactness you desire to have your point validated. I gave you the reason I remembered that particular situation, which is better than you've given to disprove me.
So if I say: "I won't go play paintball unless I have at least 6 friends to go with me," that would mean I won't go at all, ever, because today I only have 5? Or maybe I would wait and wait and wait until I got my magic number. That's almost exactly like what I said.. the time was pushed back and I said they wouldn't go unless the number 40 was reached. "Would" means intention or inclination, stop trying to make it to be something more.
(Hope you enjoyed my use of Google Search there)
Your list is something, for the most part, I'd expect of any squad or group of players with any common sense. Bravo, you're doing War 101. How about multiple frontal assaults? How about using this superior tactical know how to use those numbers with much more effectiveness. I mean tonight I was telling the country where your missions would go before we had finished off the last one. That means your tactics are predictable and unoriginal. So please, forgive my ignorance in not being able to see the brilliant planning behind these assaults.
See above. Bases with little to no resistance do not require advanced tactics. If a base is undefended, why would you use a well timed pincer attack when a simple deliberate assault would do?
I don't like the group and only 2-3 specific names. I don't have an individual dislike for any beyond those 2-3 and have had positive individual or small group encounters. With that said, that is also why I never list the names; I believe it's the group as a whole that does the negative things, aside from those few I mentioned. If you remain with a group that does negative things, or has a leading figure who brings a bad reputation without attempting to change the behavior of the group, it means you're supporting the negative behavior. Here's another example of why I dislike the group as a whole.
Last week on my squad night we leveled a base you guys I guess planned a mission for after we had started to assault the base. When you arrived on scene to the V-Base with a plethora of GVs only to find we had already leveled it, we were told you wanted it to be left uncaptured so it could be camped. We ignored you and had our goon continue in and begin a drop only to see your M3s hauling butt all of a sudden to nab that capture as if your lives depended on it. I mean we had troops in the air floating and your M3's continued toward that Map Room and drop on mass. When the base was taken, even the credit was taken.
While it was a small base, it's the principle of the matter. This is just one in a long line of grievances from me.

BTW, does vDallas ever post on the BBS?
Skuzzy won't let him. The replies would overload the BBS server and cause space-time to become unstable. Kinda like dividing by zero...

I'll comment one more time. Quote and then reply. Replies within quotes are hard to read.

you should tell your CO that. i have met some Vguys that i like and didnt mind flying with but i dont like when vDALLAS sends stupid PMs to insult you cause you shot him down
Tell him yourself, to my knowledge I'm not his father, and have no responsibility for his behavior. Secondly, I have never received an insulting pm from him, so its really none of my business. Finally, I would suggest you report his abusive behavior so that HTC can deal with the issue.
I've seen many of his pm's posted here on the forums, which I must assume are among his most grievous if they were worthy of posting here . I would call some silly, and some taunting, and frankly not too much dissimilar to the ones I've often received from other player's in the game. In a word, they're harmless, and put in the context of the public forum vs a private message, I would comment that at least he keeps his "cartoon differences" between himself and his "cartoon opponent". You however, choose to post your differences with him in public, in a discussion that he isn't included in, for the purpose discrediting another that has nothing to with his behavior.
So, nice trolling. What did you catch, other than a response from a poster that knows which hand to watch when playing Three-card Monte?

I'm conflicted here. After endless months of getting LOTS of kills off the V-guys, they come Rook, which decidedly cuts into the pool of people whom I can actually win a fight over.....but the ones I've been around furballing with (I haven't done the missions thing in years) seem like a new bunch of fellas....conflicted :headscratch:

Surely you're either deluded or mistaken!!! I read in the forums that all we do is avoid conflict at all cost, so it must be true. vTards, furballing? Certainly you mean to disparage our fine reputation, please admit that we were just augering through the furball, and not actually participating in it.
OMG!!! "conflicted" huh, I probably shouldn't have responded to your post, after all I read in the forums that squad policy forbids that I engage in conflict.
We're the same guys here in Rookland as we were in Bishadelphia, and we're not at all opposed to furballing or furballers. Thanks for noticing.

Seph your reply is obnoxious so I'm not gonna take the time to find all your commentary, I'll just reply to what I was able to visually see.....
You cannot use phrases that clearly mean one thing while expecting the entire community to take the less obvious meaning over the exact meaning. I doubt you'll even come close to agreeing so I really don't know what the point is.
When you say people "wouldn't go" or something "won't happen unless..." that means that event X will not occur unless stipulation Y is met. Again I really don't understand how in God's name you can't wrap your mind around that.
And I see now we have been upgraded to having elementary tactics from your original post of little tactics. At least your making progress somewhere. That list was just what I thought of off my head not an all inclusive, but hey I'll not get to picky.
-
And furthermore with your big hang up of "you are violating the rules of reply posting." I don't recall sending you my $15 a month to be allowed access. So unless Skuzzy forgot to add your rules or reply posting to his list, save it.

Verbal comprehension is your friend. Maybe I should label my sarcasm for you next time. But here I will help you. A long standing AH joke is that the P-38 is a bomber. Dan calls himself a less than stellar pilot. A long standing AH joke is how Dan can wreck a P-38 before take-off. Dan never carries ords...his crew chief doesn't even know what a bomb looks like. So your attempt at insulting me is a failure. When you sleep in school choose gym, not english or math.

I understand, it's hard to do those things I listed. I mean, it is are truly outlandish expecting people to critically read for the context within the register.
1. Read the entire post to extract it's full meaning.
2. Don't add or subtract words and/or meanings where they don't belong.
3. If you don't understand something or have a question about it, look it up.
*4. Omission of defense to large charges typically means one agrees or has no defense to begin with.
Yes, I'm unpleasant or harmful to opposing arguments, just as you claim.
*Not a general rule, but a rule for specific topics requiring such.
Also, I understand your need to ignore my post, you don't want to acknowledge that the vGuys violate the 'Don't be a Dick' rule. While it's not Skuzzy, it's someone way closer to HTC than you or I.
Hiding CV's and taking bases from others, either it's a dick move or we should all just ask HTC to let us steal kills again as it's similar in dickishness. (I doubt that's a word, but it sounds good)
