It's ability to change direction of it's turn vs like the A6M is why I think it's better than all other turny birds :aok

It owns most other turn fighters in the scissors. Doesnt loose roll rate with speed either. I say that the brew along w the 190 has the best roll abilities in the game.

Dont forget the A6M3,it's clipped wing gives it a better than average roll rate!
The only time a plane has difficulties rolling against torque is at slow speeds with full thrust/power. A slight reduction in throttle will allow you to roll against the torque in most ingame planes.

Use rudder to aid in rolling. In 109s it is perhaps the most important control surface.

Agreed. Particularly the G6.

Any of the DB 605 powered 109s really. The K-4 can't even hold the torque on ailerons alone at best climb speed or below. You'll just slowly careen off to port.

Rudder use is critical in rolling the Emil

109 is not one of them birds where the rudder makes the plane though...don't think it's really that important seeing that the 109 will roll over just with torque and cutting throttle makes it roll right fine.

Um... Rudder control is perhaps the 109's best advantage.
And you see this design philosophy in most German fighters from WWI onward.

I mean just look at this Fokker. There is literally no fixed vert stab at all! just a rudder.

You may be right for Real life but you'd be wrong in the MA, it's really not anything special compared to some of the real rudder monsters....it's ability in the vert comes from it's power and light wieght....don't even need to use rudder at top of a climb to bring it over the top....just chop throttle or hit WEP....engine will do all the work, you just have to quide it.
When's the last time you logged on? Just curious.

He said "rate"...
Although, I have noticed that my 109 rolls very quickly once I lose one of those pesky wings.

I know, why are people talking about 109s and F4Us lol.
The best roll rate planes are the 190s (all of them) the Ki84s and 43, and the spit16. Using the roll rate to change the direction of a loop or climb is very beneficial. In a 190 where the barrel roll is less effective, you have to use the snap roll in the vertical to gain angles. This works a lot better in planes like the Ki84, spit16, and 190D, than the 109s or F4U because the snap roll can change the planes direction much more quickly without giving up E. This can cause planes with slower roll rates to lose E much more quickly ln a verticle situation.

I16 has a fun roll rate and rudder. A week or two ago I stomp on the rudder to evade some vulcher, damn thing spun around on its axis next minute I'm sorta flying backwards.
