1. Pipz - I think this is an easy one to call no explantion needed
2. BluDeath - this guy is a killing machine period and it was close with pipz.
3. SYSTEM - have not seen this guy a lot lately but there is a reason he is number 1 fighter last tour.
4. Ahiru - completely lethal always fights and covers your tail!
5. JOKER - has to be one of the best i have seen, lots of swagger in game very confident takes bases easily.
These are just my humble thoughts, I would be interested in seeing others thoughts so list your top 5 pilots

I just realised after a recent thread that although we have score and stars to show it, not everyone can compete month to month for various reasons, some also switch stars off, also with the passing to the new game I wanted to list my best of the best in Aces High 2

Stars don't really show skill. Just shows you had time to accomplish the achievements. Also, when did you start playing AH2?

Most of the guys that are considered "top pilots" in the last 5 years couldn't hold a candle to some of the guys that played in the early tours.

Krup is my kryptonite....he beats me 1v1 more then any other pilot in game.
Grizz had the best aim I've ever seen
Bruv and Kazaa are probably the best wingman pairing in the game...followed by Grizz and Kappa (even though they haven't thrown hands with Krup and I yet :aok) Either of those 2.pairings came into a furball with alt that fight was ending fast.

Perhaps one day I shall compile a "Hall of Fame" listing all the greats AcesHigh has produced, but like the hall of shade it wont be limited by a number but by exactly how they have conducted themselves in our little game in the sky.

Well they must mean something otherwise they would not be in the game would they? Achievements must have some skill to actually achieve therefore an achievement can be deemed a skill and should be taken into account.

So I have had this account open for about 5 years now...I have 3 stars...I am not any good...but I have had the account open for 5 years and accumulated the achievements...just because I landed a 15 kills in a fighter without dying still does not mean I am any good...just because I shot 5,000,000 rounds of ammo doesn't mean I am any good...just because I landed without elevators and with intact stabs does not mean I am any good...
We are talking about The greatest aces of AH2...not people who have the time to accumulate achievements...
Yes they do mean something...not in the aspect of great fighter pilot though...

My top five pilots personally:
1. Ditto: Ditto and I have a score of 1-1 at the moment as to how many times we have killed each other since our initial encounter in 2012. I killed his PT Boat in a scenario once, and he got my Yak after I was defensive for 5 minutes against two of JG11, and Ditto came on cleaned my clot at stall speed. Touche sir.
2. Biggamer, one my squaddies and one of the best in the F6F aside from Greebo.
3. Dolby/JOACH1M: they tie in my opinion as those two can fly a 109 regardless of the situation.
4. Anyone in JG11 or any of the other dedicated Luftwaffe squadrons, I have fought many of you and you all are danged good pilots.
5. Trees, they always seem to win in the HO, and I can never shake them...

All of the pilots mentioned in this list have merit as far as I know but, I'll speak specifically of SnailMan, Bruv119, and AKDogg as having many (perhaps all) of the same qualities as Drex. The game is better with them in it. Dogg and Drex (among others, I'm sure) are missed. Humble opinion.

Torq was the best F4U pilot in the game IMO, even by today's standards. Granted, he flew the hizooka model, but he didn't miss and could make that plane dance. Not taking anything away from you by any means.

Batfink was pretty good too, though many wouldn't know it as he spent most of his time fighting with one arm tied behind his back to keep it fun for everyone (this used to annoy me to no end).

Ahiru was only willing to fight my 109 in his ki84 when he had altitude advantage to rope a dope. Once i could get close to equalising the energy states, he always opted for running. That gets a big boo from me.

Never seen Ahiru fight without an advantage. Met him many times also in a Ki-84. He'll run if he's co-e.

Reading so many of these names gives me a glimmer of hope for the future of AH3. In-game right now there is hardly a player I won't kill consistently.
