Temperature is based on the vibration level of molecules and when you add ice cubes to a warm glass of water. That proves you're adding slow.
During the night, you have a dream of peeing and you wake up and discover that you peed in your bed. That proves dreams do come true.
When Robert Pattison was chosen to play Batman. That proves vampires do indeed turn into bats.

A water leak will always occur at night when all the hardware stores are closed, and you are one part short of having everything you need to fix it right then :uhoh

When you’ve worked all week the customer will always call on Friday saying the equipment is broke I need you here now and it’s been down all week.
When you've waited all week for any customer to call for help, you finally get an "urgent" call on Friday afternoon to fix a something that has been broken all week.
During that call another customer knocks in the background and when you finally reach that other one after several "the line is busy" attempts he tells that he already hired a competitor to fix an issue that's been bugging him all week.

When one of those 3 or 4 hour service calls is scheduled at the house, the technician will show up 7 minutes after the end of the block.

Re b. Neither do pineapples grow in pine trees.
Also I've read that Panama hats aren't being made in Panama, Ecuador being the main source for them. Or at least was according to a book printed in '50. Now I'd vote for China or one of their cheaper subcontractors.
